Room was very clean Staff were very nice safe & fridge broken & no shampoo, I requested a different room and the manage was very nice to move me to different room. I had food that went bad in the fridge, and I told them as such, none of the staff said they were sorry for things not working. When i asked the manager about a meal credit, he was very nice and comped my last 3 days breakfast. I am use to marriott top service, and the fact i had to ask for it was not how things are usually handled. Also I paid taxes through expedia on my room. But when i went to check out they said I owed another $58. in taxes for 2 nights on top of the 40. I already paid? I paid it. But is this right? Thank You

The staff was able to check us in a couple hours early and it was so wonderful to be able to take a shower and a nap before we went into playa del Carmen for dinner. The lunch at the hotel restaurant was great!

The room was clean the breakfast was also decent - the lower rating is because of the poor management of the airport shuttle. We caught the shuttle both ways to the airport and had long wait each times - when I compare this to other countries (eg in Africa) where I have been to where the shuttle was much better organised I was very disappointed.
