Book a hotel near Bird Emergency Aid and Kare Sanctuary, Jacksonville

"The Villas of Amelia Island is part of the Omni Resort, which is great because you can use the Omni amenities (pool, fitness, beach, etc.). The bad part, though, is that we were assigned a room in Turtle Dunes, which is the farthest villa from the main resort (over a mile away). They do have shuttle service throughout the result, which is relatively efficient, but it means you have to shuttle back and forth to the pool, beach, restaurants, etc. every time you want to do something, which takes a lot of time away from your vacation. Also, the food everywhere is very expensive, and so are the amenities, such as renting beach chairs, etc. That said, the room was nice, with a huge bathroom and a beautiful view, and that part of the resort was extremely quiet, even on a busy spring break week. "

"The rooms were clean and as expected. The host was easy to communicate and responsive to questions. The view is incredible. It was a little too chilly to use the pool during our stay, but it was clean and ready upon our arrival. The location felt safe and secure and we would stay here again if ever back in the area. "

"Everything about our experience at The Island Estate was perfect. This home had beautiful decor, plenty of room for everyone for meals and for relaxing, well-stocked kitchen with many extra amenities, comfortable clean bedrooms and baths, and fantastic outdoor spaces, including a great pool and hot tub, and a massive dock area where we enjoyed the spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset, as well as dolphins and ships cruising past. We even witnessed a sea turtle swim up to the dock supports. Our host, Maghen, was wonderful. We entered and saw huge Welcome basket and precious personalized sign, and felt immediately at home. She told us about all of the outdoor accessories for our use and where to find them in the house. She also offered great tips on local restaurants, beaches, activities, groceries and delivery services. This home met, then quickly surpassed, our expectations. We would love to stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this walk-out condo right on the ocean! It is ideal for dogs and kids, both were fascinated by the tortoises and loved the easy access to the beach and fun multi-use path right out the door. The condo itself was clean and had everything you could think of needing for a beach vacation. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive! We loved it here and hope to come back again. "
