Although the weather did not cooperate, the purpose of the bistro the Amelia Island Omni was a conference so did not need to go out into the cold and rain. There were still spectacular views of the Ocean at sunrise. Staff an amenities were first rate.

Went off season in January, so the weather wasn’t conducive to using the pool but it’s a beautiful property. They were undergoing renovation but it didn’t impact our stay. The other highlight of the property was service. Everyone I encountered from the valet, front desk, restaurant staff etc provided phenomenal service. Whether it was a pricier experience like Bob’s and Nona’s or a more casual dining experience at The Falcon’s Nest or Surfcaster, the; the food and service were exceptional. Definitely recommend.

The property was huge! Upon arrival at check in we were told that there was a $150/day hold for incidentals which is way too high. After visiting the bar restaurant, I understood why, everything is either charged to your room or you have to pay with credit card, NO CASH.I wish I would have known prior to arrival. The property was nice, but the weather was very cold, so we could not use the outdoor pool. We wanted to use indoor pool, but you had to drive or take a shuttle. Property too massive for my liking.

The resort is old and tired. We waited almost 2 hours for our room to be clean even though we didn't check in until almost 4 PM. There was a horrible sewage smell in the lobby. They gave us a room near a maid's closet, and we were woken up every morning by the metal rolling wheels of the linen carts on the concrete back-and-forth in front of our door. Everywhere we looked. Things were falling apart. Don't waste money on this "resort". Anything but a relaxing getaway.

Common areas are pristine, rooms in the hotel itself seemed below par for the price. Shower water pressure was extremely low but the sink was like a pressure washer, confusing? Sound transfers easily between rooms overhearing others conversations. Rooms were not ready until over an hour after check-in, did get comp’d a couple drinks at the bar for the delay. Overall great experience outside of the room.

Rooms are not great for that kind of money, very dated, had to wait forever for hot water. The view was probably the only good thing. all food, drinks, restaurants, and shops on their property expensive, will not go back

This was the only exception to excellence…..housekeeping…..we had to ask front desk to get room freshened…….the room was poorly freshened……bed made up terribly and used glassware never removed……standard housekeeping that was missed…….

We stayed last year and returned after having a nice time. The complex is large and beautiful. Checked into our room, dirty and pillows are flat, need to be replaced. Had to have housekeeping come clean bath floor that had hairs and fuzzies. Also no shower soap. One small bar of hand soap for three day stay. No cleaning on our last day. Was also charged over $60 for bar visit we didn’t do. Had to dispute. We are a bit disappointed in our stay and lack of care we received.
