"sufficient"
hey! I stayed at the shinjuku grand bell Hotel for a tattol of 7days. I only used the hotel for about 5-7hours a day and that was to sleep and freshen up. Over all it's a good place. Just during my stay they where remodeling the balcony and bar. It's still open for service but it's and inconvenience how you can't see the view of the city and get the full experience.

"Well priced!!. Very close to train. Friendly staff"
Upon arrival we were greeted with friendliness from the staff. All of the employees I spoke with were fluent or close ti fluent in English which helped since we know 10 words in Japanese. They were so friendly and willing to assist. We needed to find parking and they did a great job of recommending a fare priced parking garage across the street. The first night we paid Y2200 and the second night we paid Y 1500. They have a great map of the area and one of the subway as well. When we entered our room, it exceeded our expectations. We booked 2 single beds and got just that. The beds were so comfortable and were bigger than we expected a twin in Japan to be. The rooms were immaculate and so clean. it all looked brand new. The room was one of the most modern rooms I have ever stayed in. We had booked two rooms for our party of 4 and they situated us in rooms that were side by side. I have ZERO complaints about this hotel or the staff. They were so helpful and the concierge bent over backwards to help us when my husband got lost finding the parking garage across the street. I will not even need to try another hotel the next time we come to Tokyo. This is it for us. Everything we need at our fingertips and well-priced too. The area was close to lots of stores and cafes.

"Nice hotel near train station"
We were greeted with friendly hotel staff and a nice view from our room overlooking Tokyo city and we also could see the famous Shibuya crossing. We recieved a welcoming gift of fresh strawberries and a nice letter from the hotel manager. The room was pleasantly spacious and the bed very comfortable.

"Perfect location in the heart of Tokyo"
We loved our stay at the Royal Park Shiodome. The location was perfect for us. It's near the Ginza, Tsukiji Fish Market and mass transit. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. They were really helpful with room, getting around town and baggage. Will stay there again.

Wonderful experience! Excellent service, very clean rooms and facilities, notable restaurants. Hotel may seem awkward and small because it's rebuilding one of the wings in prep for 2020 Tokyo Olympics and have relocated all of the restaurants to one side.

"Very nice hotel, convenient access to Shinjuku"
Located right next to "Central Park" in Shinjuku - nice area to go jogging. Ten minutes walk from Shinjuku station, and a shuttle bus that goes every 20 minutes. My room was very comfortable, with a pleasant view over the Park. A very enjoyable two day stay. The breakfast was great, with very prompt service and a wide selection of western and japanese cuisine. If you are coming from Narita, the shuttle bus takes 90mins-1 hour. Alternatively, take the Narita Express to Shinjuku station and then the free hotel bus to the hotel. Fastest - take the skyliner to Nippori then the Yamamoto line to Shinjuku - this takes just 1 hour total if you are lucky with the changes.

"Comfortable with a great view of the Tokyo Skyline"
When I booked the vacation through Travelocity, I specified 2 adults and 2 children 9 years and 11 years. Usually the hotel would have 2 queen (or at least double) beds that could comfortably fit the four of us. When we checked into the hotel, the desk clerk looked at the 4 of us and asked, "Four???" We took a look at the room, and there was no way that even two kids would fit into one of their beds, let alone 2 adults or an adult and a child. There was also no space in the room for a cot. We ended up paying almost full rack rate for an extra room, which erased all savings we had making a booking through Travelocity.  Not the fault of the hotel, but Travelocity should have at least parameters that show that two 3-foot wide beds would not fit a family with 2 kids, even if they are under 12!! Big fail on the part of Travelocity. The hotel itself is wonderful - great location, comfortable, friendly service, and mostly English speaking staff. At booking, we opted for an upgraded corner room which has huge windows and a great view of the city. The second (expensive) room we got was tiny, had a tiny window, and cramped for two adults. The hotel is right next to the Shiodome subway station, and walking distance to the much larger Shimbashi station. Food is plentyful within 10mins walk, so we only ate breakfast the first morning at the hotel while orientating ourselves in Tokyo. As the Tsukiji Fish market is just 15 mins walk away, and breakfast there starts at 3am in the morning, jetlagged vacationers will find the Park Hotel Tokyo to be a great location to explore Tokyo from.

"Great position, friendly staff"
Terrific position, I had a fantastic room with spectacular view of Tokyo Tower. Rooms are now a bit dated however, which is presumably why can't ask top dollar. Staff were great. If you won't miss a slick contemporary room, snap this one up without hesitation
