My biggest problem was simply finding the hotel. All the APA hotels in Tokyo have VERY similar names. I'd be out then upon returning I'd be at the wrong APA hotel. All have similar Shinjuku Hijari Kubuchi Tower designations. Absolutely maddening. why not NUMBER THE HOTELS?!!!!!!!!

Great hotel and convenient location in Shinjuku. We were able to take advantage of the nearby train stations to get to other parts of Tokyo like Shibuya, Akihabara, etc. We had a smaller room that had a bunk bed style for our family of 3. It was definitely a tight squeeze but we made it work.

We had to get new keys every single time we left the hotel, every day. It was very frustrating being there for a week. The staff wasn't particularly friendly about it. Always asking for the reservation as if we hadn't booked the room.
