The Knot is in Shinjuku but on the quiet side. It can be a little confusing to find metro entrances and figuring out the best exits but it’s convenient to major lines. We also used the 51 bus. From Shibuya to the hotel is an easy route. The breakfast made our days better! Started off long days of exploring Tokyo with a delicious breakfast and the variety allowed us lots of variations in meals. Not luxurious but comfortable and good value.

We enjoyed our weeks stay. The room was small but served our needs. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bath was really good. Very lively lobby and restaurants made the hotel feel friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding. We enjoyed it every morning and found the variety was enough to keep us happy. The food is excellent quality. We also ate in the restaurant several nights including the rainy cold night we arrived from NYC. Only minus is the advertised laundry room is very small for an entire hotel and was always busy. So factor that into your stay.

A pleasant stay at the Knot with friendly staff and a great bakery, though the room and bathroom were smaller than expected and it’s a 25-minute walk to Shinjuku Station and about a 5 minute walk to the closest 7/11.

Fantastic location super close to the park and other businesses. Rooms were kept very clean and were well designed for the space. Shower was always hot and ready and we didn’t want for anything. Staff was on point all the time even with the daily eco cleans. Bakery downstairs was a bonus and we couldn’t get enough of the bread and pastries.

The room was clean, but smaller based on western standards, but had lounge area to hang out on 2nd floor and main floor...but they provied bottles of water and fresh towels daily. Loved the vibe at the hotel...music, had DJ on certain nights, Amazing Bakery, Coffee bar, and Tappas Lounge was excellent...locals visited who did not stay at the hotel. Little further from main area of Shinjuku and train stations...so depends on your preference.

Room cleaning everyday, we stayed at 12th floor. Had to open the window which is fine make sit cooler and airy as the AC wasn’t working as well. It’s more a fan so gets a bit hot. Convenient locations 8 mins to train station. Great western breakfast (pricy). Has local mart right next door and a Chinese restaurant nxt door also. Gets a bit busy but doesn’t bother us we r out everyday til late. Walls of the rooms r thin as we can hear activity from neighbouring rooms which can be annoying. Other than that happy and will be saying again.

If it’s one thing I didn’t like about this hotel, washer/dryer. Expect to dry your clothes for over 2+hour, no option to increase heat.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had several options that you can choose from. We like the area because it was quiet. My husband and I love to walk so it was not a problem for us walking to Shinjuku train station and taking the trains from there. There was also a bus right outside our hotel that takes you to Shibuya which was really convenient.
