Staff were very nice, rooms were very clean, limited space in room though but good enough for solo to just get a good sleep in. Shinjuku is very beautiful but at night watch for ppl trying to scam you in the area. Just say no and they will leave you alone but it does get annoying. Right beside Kabukicho tower where a lot of events go on but they are not loud and it’s cool to watch! All in all. It’s a little expensive so there is probably better options for the same price.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, very convenient to have breakfast at the hotel. Room was very small, barely enough room to open our large check-in luggage. Wi-fi and AC worked well. Great location if you want to be in the busier area of Shinjuku.

The staff were wonderful and the hotel itself is clean, though quite compact. Transparency about our rating and the Kabukicho area is that there are a lot of young, restless locals hanging around. Being such a hot tourist destination and local bar/party scene, Kabukicho is less clean than other areas of Tokyo and sometimes loud or rowdy. That said: we never once felt unsafe or unwelcome. It’s just a different vibe.

The staff are nice and the location is great but the hotel is clearly designed to run as cheaply as possible. There are four elevators for the whole building, one of which was out of order for my entire stay. There are three washing machines and three dryers, each of which only accepts 100 yen coins and the conversion machine was broken. Housekeeping is every three days, which is fine because they drop off a new towel each morning, but they try to spin this as an environmental measure rather than cost cutting. It’s fine as a place to crash for a few nights but don’t expect much more.

Clean room, good amenities and helpful staff. Convenient location for transports, night life and shopping, but noisy at night. Avoid if you prefer quiet neighborhood. Also waiting for elevators at rush hour is annoying. Make sure to check out at least 30 min before the actual check out time.

CHECK THE MATTRESS AS SOON AS YOU ENTER!!!!!

The bed in my room 1812 appeared to have some type of large blood or coffee stan that they just covered up with a bed wrap that would slide off the bed if you move even a little bit. I'm 6ft tall and the blanket only covered half of my body so it's made for shorter people. I also woke up to feathers so over the room every day from the blanket. I don't know if there was a whole in it or if the quality was just that bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful but honestly that was the only enjoyable part of my stay at this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again if i got the room for free

People complain that the rooms are small but it is not hidden that these rooms are designed for sleep and go only. The rooms are very clean and so are the halls and facilities. Staff are friendly and daily service was great. There is an onsen also and one of us had tattoos for which the hotel provided free cover up stickers.

Hotel was clean and the rooftop onsen was great, but the rooms have absolutely no sound proofing and you will hear the constant partying outside so you better hope you get a high enough room to avoid the noise.
