Super pretty, staff was nice and helpful. Actually nice to have a balcony to get fresh air. Not necessarily near anything but the stadium and maybe a 9-10 min walk to Starbucks. There’s stations near by. Didn’t get to try the restaurant but we did have coffee and a pastry. Was delicious! Laundry service was pricy

An Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Shinjuku. I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel in Tokyo, and I can confidently say it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient—nestled in the vibrant Shinjuku neighborhood, just a short walk from a subway station, the bustling shopping area, and the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Whether you’re looking to explore, shop, or just relax in nature, everything is within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped. One of the highlights was the onsen (Japanese hot spring) on site, which was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience after long days of exploring Tokyo. The bakery on site deserves a special mention—the pastries were fresh, delicious, and perfect for a midday treat. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning, and it was hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had: a wide variety of options, beautifully presented, and consistently high quality. The hotel was very good overall. There is not much in the immediate area but there is a train stop only minutes away. The restaurant had some tasty food at very high prices. Our room was very nice and had a good urban view, but was small.

Overall average experience. Nothing extraordinary and nothing terrible. I don’t like how they don’t stock your room with the basic toiletries and u need to use a communal space. Staff was just avg, didn’t explain anything about the hotel amenities or the communal we just figured it out on our own. Rooms were clean not very spacious but that’s typical in Japan. Location is close to transportation but that’s about it. Again not terrible and not great just an average experience.
