Hotel was super clean and beautiful! I only had one issue with this place and it was the laundry service ! I spent almost $80 on the laundry services and out clothes came back still smelly ( like you can still smell my sons sweat on his shirts) so expensive and when I told the front desk nothing was done about it ! She just said sorry and proceeded to swipe the charges

Older property but very clean. I stayed on 9th floor with view of Tokyo tower. Clean but was probably remodeled 10 years plus ago. My sister was on 5th floor and her room looked recently remodeled. I guess it depends which floor. Hotel was very clean but cannot find any trashcans anywhere. Had to throw rubbish in toilet trashcan.

Grand Prince Hotel SHIN Takanawa

This is my favorite hotel in Japan. Whenever I'm in Tokyo, I make sure I can reserve a room here. It exudes so much atmosphere celebrating the country, especially the serene Main Bar Asama. There is a fully stocked 7/11 on the premises and buffet restaurant, in addition to other restaurants, that, while pricey, and absolutely delicious and well-attended.

Everything is adequate. Only drawback is a bit further from the train station with a up hill walk. We need to use the shuttle between the Prince Hotel Shinagawa to this hotel.

We didnt have an Onsen which was dissapointing but the location to the JR line was excellent!! also, there are a number of great restaurants a short walk away

First time in Japan, this hotel was beautiful. Within walking distance of the train station, very clean, beautiful, lots of food options & the hospitality is unmatched. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Close to airport and train but just OK

Older rooms and bathrooms were just OK. picked as it was close to the train stations and good to rest when off to the airport
