I felt very unwelcome when I arrived on the night of 12/17. The staff member gave me a poor room, and to make matters worse, the room key did not work. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will not be staying at WPU again.

Room was compact but contained all the necessaries, was well designed, and clean. It reminded me of staying in Manhattan, because even though my room faced an interior courtyard and wasn't on the street side, I was still cognizant of big city noises coming from somewhere outside.

The room was tiny. But I was solo-traveling and the point of my trip was to be out and about as much as possible, so this suited me fine. The accommodation was super economical, albeit basic. Free continental breakfast and a complimentary drink at the attached bar were included. The room was clean and comfortable, although you are in the middle of Shinjuku, so expect city noise. The best feature is the location - just outside Shinjuku station, across the street from Omoide Yokocho, and walking distance to everything!

Excellent Hotel , very conveniently located just a few blocks from Shinjuku Station which is a huge plus so you can move around , there's plenty of shops , restaurants , Don Quijote , kombinis . The staff always went above and beyond from beginning to end to make my stay a very pleasant experience, plus they speak fluent English, certainly I'll be coming back next time I'm in Tokyo . 100 % recommend. Thank you so much.

Second time staying at WPÜ this year. Great location, welcoming and helpful staff, clean room, complimentary breakfast (pastries, coffee and juices), late checkout available, not too far from the Kabukicho Tower Narita/Haneda airport shuttle bus (5 to 10 minute walk) which is practical as taking the subway with luggage can be a bit of a pain... The only thing I would recommend is to change or fix the laundry room dryers, but I will definitely book it again next time.

The room we stayed in was big enough. The complementary tea / coffee / juice & toast & pastries was a nice surprise. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very centrally located to everything Shinjuku offers, shopping , dining and also close to the Shinjuku train station. The only thing that went wrong was the Alarms went off at 2.30 am one night, an announcement came through the rooms, we are presuming it was saying to evacuate. But unfortunately it wasnt announced in English. As it turned out - it was a false alarm but there were no English announcements at all. For a hotel that has allot of international tourists staying there, I would have thought announcing in English should have happened. It just left me a little frightened as we didn’t know until later that morning it was a false alarm. WPU - please learn from this and let the tourists know what’s happening. Apart from that - we loved our stay.
