I recently stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and located in a peaceful area with convenient access to public transport and shopping. The rooms were spacious for Tokyo standards, with thoughtful amenities and great attention to cleanliness. The staff was polite and helpful, though there were moments where communication in English was a bit challenging — but they always made the effort to assist. The on-site facilities, including the public bath and dining options, were excellent additions to our stay. My only minor complaint was that the check-in process felt a bit impersonal due to the use of kiosks, and I wish there were more kid-friendly activities available on-site, especially since we were traveling with a child. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a quiet, well-appointed hotel in Tokyo.

Great hotel for family visit to Tokyo

Great hotel for family visit to Tokyo. Convenient for public transport. Large leisure and shopping complex next door including large food court. Room large, comfortable and very quiet. Very modern hotel. Would stay there again.

Enjoyed very much for the foot bath. It is so relaxing and complimentary from Villa Fontaine. The ministop convenience store is the added bonus to the hotel. The walking distance to Ariake Garden is the best.

Great sized room for a family of 4. Excellent facilities, staff helpful, free shuttle bus to key areas. Great access to Ariake Garden shopping centre and convenience stores (literally next door). About 5-7 mins walk to nearest train and 5 mins to bus. Can also walk to Team Lab too. Good in terms of being equal distance from everywhere by train-city centre, Shibuya area and Disneyland!

The room was so lovely and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had issues with our flights and arrived later than expected and the staff were understanding and helpful. It’s very close to train stations and is attached to a massive mall. Highly recommend to stay here. A little side note. It is a little far from the centre of Tokyo. Taking anywhere between 2 to 3 trains to get anywhere but we really enjoyed the train rides and experience.

King beds were two twin beds pushed together. They had no actual king beds, then we asked for a smaller queen bed but they did not have queen with the same sized room as the king. Offered no compensation over not supplying what they claimed to have offered. Also the spa ticket that we paid extra for was great everyday, but could not be used the last day after check out, and we had to pay extra. Would stay here again, but felt like the 4 stars was a stretch for this hotel with the size of the rooms and accommodations offered.

The shuttle and baggage lock is great for those needing to go to the airport. The surrlunding area is clean, safe, and has a lovely shopping mall. The rest of the city is easily accessible via the Yamanota line that offers great views of the waterfront.
