We stayed on 29th floor in a triple room. It was a good size big enough for 3 people and had a nice view over the city. The room was clean. The staff were helpful. Direct access from hotel to Sunshine City mall where you can access the metro which is one stop away from main ikebukuro station. I would recommend accessing hotel via the sunshine city mall as this is easier to find. Also the airport bus stops directly outside the hotel so this is an added bonus to a nice stay. Lifts weren't an issue as there are 2 dedicated to the upper floors. Laundry facilities and family mart also available within the hotel. Would recommend this hotel and ikebukuro for a trip to Japan. Shinjuku and Shibuya are both accessible on train within 10 mins

Family friendly hotel & the huge plus is that the hotel is connected to a mall that has everything! Shopping/ restaurants/ gotcha/ overall great vibe. The hotel offers direct airport drop-off/ pick up via bus limousine. If you have kids, like me, this is the place! Most restaurants allow kids/strollers. Will definitely come back!

Good location mediocre food

Very convenient location for shopping and access to Narita Airport. There is a shuttle bus stop from/to Narita right in front of the hotel. However, it is bit of a walk from the JR Ikebukuro Station. I had two suitcases with two children. Should have just taken a taxi from the station. Without suitcases and small kids it shouldn’t be a problem. The hotel is literally connected to Ikebukuro Sunshine - great access to Pokemon Center, Aquarium etc. Hotel breakfast is at best mediocre. I’ll probably stay again if I were flying out of Narita but probably not including the breakfast option.

this hotel is the perfect location if you have bad weather and don't want to go outside. it is connected to a mall and you can shop and eat without going outside. it is so convenient that you can also do whatever you want and go back to rest and start all over again. the airport shuttle is also available right outside the door. everything is walkable and many many things to do i and eat inside and outdoors as well

Worth A Stay

We were initially concerned that it was to far from the sights we wished to take in, but this proved not to be the case. The Metro was a short walk from the hotel. The shopping facilities in The Sunshine City Mall were incredible. The staff were attentive and always willing to help. The room, although a little different by European standards was large and adequate, but there were not any drawers for storage and no cupboards. The view from the Panorama Room was awesome.

Hotel is very convenient to shopping and eateries. There’s also an airport limousine bus that stops at this hotel that can get you to and from Haneda or Narita airports. The only thing I miss is having drawers in the room to put my clothes in. However, there were cubbies that could be used for packing cubes.

Excellent hotel to be reasonably close to Ikebukuro station, about 10 min walk and can be done mainly underground. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable with many amenities that you would find in the US at major hotels.
