Very average place. Rooms were very small. Carpet in room was all torn up in the room. Compared to the Kyoto Royal Park this is not in the same league. The other Royal Park gave us complementary happy hour everyday and afternoon snacks which this one did not. Would not return here. Not the friendliest staff. Very outdated rooms. Needs a facelift. Everything was great, very convenient subway with various lines making easy to navigate to all the attractions or close by taxi at night. The room was clean and had a great view.

We were lucky to get an upgrade to a king suite. The room was HUGe. We had a view of Mount Fuji and was spectacular at sunset. Very close to the metro and easy to navigate. Walkable to so much!

The main issue was lack of a space where four people could sit around a table for a discussion. The rooms are too small for this purpose. There is no such option in the lobby, and in order to sit around a table, we were required to pay.
