"They had a sport team staying at the same day . They had cops stopping us to enter the hotel unless we show our room keys. They wouldn’t allow us in the lobby . They wouldn’t allow us to use the resultants. They wouldn’t allow us to be even on the curbside . I need a refund"

"I would have loved to give this hotel a higer rating, the staff was great when we checked in, the hotel was very nice. The beds were so comfortable. One incident was enough to ruin the experience. We checked into our room and things seemed great, but when we went into the bathroom, the toilet was not only uncleaned, it was unflushed. That was enough to make the whole room feel dirty. Contacted the front desk, no response. Called them again and they told us we could change rooms. I asked if they could just have someone come up and clean the bathroom and I was told it would be easier if we moved. I told them we had settled into the room, and it was 11:30 pm, after a full day of driving, and we really did not want to pack up and change to another room. We were again told we'd just have to move. They sent someone up with keys to another room and we had to pack up and move it we wanted a clean bathroom. Not so much as an apology or offer to help us move our luggage. What could have been a great experience at an historic place became something that made us frustrated, tired and disappointed in the hotel."
