The staff was amazing! Thanks to Leticia, Miguel and Jose (and the other young lady at the front desk) they were the perfect hosts. The room and the amenities were better than I expected. And the hospitality was top tier. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

The room was nice clean so was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable for us, we enjoy a harder bed so we had a for us, we enjoy an harder bed. I like the upper terrace. And you could lounge there and spend some time in the sun. The staff was really really helpful and actually we were very pampered as Jose took it upon himself to arrange everything for us. Laura was also very nice. The pool was nice though could use a little more cleaning of the leaves, but we understand that leaves are gonna fall since it’s rounded by trees. The breakfast was… It had nothing Mexican. Let’s say it is nutritious and it will do but not anything to be excited about. Minus the fresh papaya which was really good. Another thing that I have to mention is that the hotel‘s location is right near Avenida 5th, which is the heart of the city with lots of entertainment. since it was the New Year’s Eve and winter celebration, the noise was noticeable. We didn’t care much about as we had earplugs. But some other people may object. Just be warrant. Overall I had a fantastic time and I would return any day. You don’t need a car you can walk everywhere. Be prepared. There will be some hiccups with arranged things like transportation and not arriving in time or little missed connections, but overall things work out. Again many greetings to the staff and we will come again.

We arrived in a raining day. The hotel is located next to the busy 5th Ave. We had difficulties to find the parking site. There is no sign and the gate is locked. I wish the hotel let us know how to access in advance. The two bedrooms suite is really big, clean and welled equipped. We could not run hot water when we took shower. The manage team let us to use another empty unit next to ours which is really helpful. The breakfast is included. Comparing to other hotels we stayed during the trip it is way to simple, as a brand of Wyndham, this section shall improve.

Room was clean and has the listed amenities but we had trouble with water. One day the the hotel lost all water and the next two days we lost all hot water. Staff was friendly and did what they could.

Location was great, room was super quiet. The bed was too hard for my taste and the location of the AC vent was poorly planned as it would blow in my face all night. Staff was nice, even when the water went out for several hours.

Lovely large rooms, great space middle of town 50 ft away from 5th Ave, close to beach. Hotel managers very informative, friendly and welcoming. Helped us with finding great dining places, and even a laundry mat. Hotel is clean charming and has private balconies on the roof top. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Staff and service were excellent. They tried very hard to accommodate us. Property is outdated. Room smelled moldy and noisy. They changed us to another room but the AC didn’t work so we changed back to the room facing the street. We were told by 11pm noise should be reduced but it wasn’t the case. The noise from the night club went on until around 5pm. It wasn’t worth the price we paid. We could’ve gotten better hotel for less.

We expected a single room but got a full, spacious unit with a proper kitchen—super comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach. The staff were outstanding: professional, friendly, and proactive before and during our stay. Special thanks to Miguel (night shift) for going above and beyond several times. We’d happily stay again. We love Acanto. The Staff are super friendly and helpful. Plenty available to eat for light breakfast. Beach towels available upon request as well as discounts to local excursions, bars, massages.

Tout était très bien! À l’exception qu’un gérant nous a volé $200USD dans le coffre-fort! Seul un gérant pouvais voler avec le module de programmation. Il a accusé les femmes de chambres mais elles n’ont aucune possibilité de voler dans le coffre. J’aurais aimé obtenir une compensation mais rien n’a été offert car ceci aurait confirmé la responsabilité du gérant!

The initial room we were given when we checked in late in the day, wasn't great. It was rather small, felt unkept and the bathroom had water pressure issues. When we brought up the issues to the management, they were happy to make the switch the next day and gave us the free upgrade to a suite. Which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Laura- one of the manager was very accomodating and all the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly. Acanto felt like home during our stay!

The room had a few problems such as the shower pressure, leaking sink, living room tv had not volume. The property is cute, but if you’re like me, you probably won’t like the noisy bed sheets. The breakfast consists of boiled eggs and coffee, some individual cereal boxes and toast. The night guy Miguel was the best worker at the property.

It’s a lovely property, well maintained, spacious and most importantly friendly staff. Miguel is a star who is helpful and kind. I did have a room closer the 5th ave and hence was loud but it wasn’t too much of an issue for me.
