For what this place charges compared to LA standard, I’d say it’s better than a motel. The place is a HUB of artists, and out of area volunteers in exchange for hostel stay. I love that they have activities between the West Hollywood and the Hollywood facilities most nights. It’s different. It feels more like a community. Don’t expect a hotel. Think more like college dorm feel. Breakfast has good choices, and generous serving, giving you upto three items on the choices. It’s just lacking presentation but they have all necessities—toaster, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, yogurt, bread and spread options, fruits. Volunteers and staff are friendly and they keep the place clean. Jude took my husband to a run/jog up Runyon Canyon hill which is a good 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs loop with beautiful views.

I noticed there were TWO addresses, so I called ahead. I asked, “Am I staying at this address or the other?” The person who answered the phone was very short with me. “yes it’s this address, you are here.” I drive 3 hours in the rain to get there. I am THRILLED that the parking is inside, clean and gated. YAY!! I go into the office, and am told, “You are not listed here.” How can this be? “I called ahead to verify?!” I am asked, “Where are you going?” I explain I’m here for a film screening, and the guy says, “Oh that is really close to here” and then another guy steps up and says, “Oh! Sorry I was short with you when you called, you can just stay here, we have the same room open.” So now I know I’m closer to the venue, I’m planning on taking an Uber to, so I am eager to stay where the parking is so safe, too. Plus, I’m tired and hungry. “Oh, I see that you already paid with Expedia, so we can’t move you here. Sorry.” Meanwhile the guy who said I WAS staying there said nothing more and did not help at all. Then they tell me that the other location is 20 minutes away and now my Uber cost will be higher and no one tried hard to help at all. Just a quick, “Oh well, sorry.” PLEASE fix it so either location works to switch if this happens to others. It’s a good deal with hostel-like benefits and a groovy student dorm vibe. The other hotel has no gate on the underground parking but was well lit on camera. The room was okay, loud bathroom fan. Helpful staff there.

First off the staff was not friendly, second off this place actually puts on parties depending on the day of the week… parties that extend late into the night and you will not be sleeping through them depending on where your room is. If you are a teenager looking for a quick hostel to stay at sure why not. But if you are in LA for any real reason where you need sleep and a nice room, go somewhere else.

It’s a hidden gem in LA, this place operate the most safe,fun,generous and professional stay in the city and cheapest too. I really wish them the best and my only advise for the great manager to observe the stuff more to make sure that they all acting friendly as most of them do. And more focus will make the place more batter

First of all they should advertise it as a HOSTEL or DORM . It shows up as HOTEL VIBE which is incorrect . Also the door cannot be locked from inside so that was a big red flag for me and so we vacated the room immediately and checked into a Proper hotel chain. Also the air conditioner wasn’t working the temperature setting knob was locked and so we couldn’t adjust it at all when enquired with the front desk they said it is a old building so the air conditioner is not working properly I was traveling with my daughter so we weren’t comfortable staying there at all I had booked for a 3 night stay and they wouldn’t refund also at least for the next two nights so I felt I was cheated by the hotel. very disappointed and a terrible experience from hotels.com I am not sure if I would book through hotels.com
