Not well maintained

This is my third stay at this hotel. It is at a great location and has a good vibe but I’ve noticed how warn out things are this time around. Surfaces looked dirty and dingy. It was disappointing but the staff was so nice.

We love The Line. It’s everything we need and nothing we don’t. Streamlined and comfortable, excellent eating options. This was our 4th stay.

Great View

Pros: Centrally located, the VIEW, room layout and design.
Cons: The shower stalls and parking (an additional $40 per night)
Location: Lots of place to eat nearby. Hotel restaurant had a great selection. 20-30 min or less to most attractions.
The view was spectacular! Room was a good size for 1 or 2 people. Liked the layout of the room with the bed overlooking that gorgeous view. Parking was fairly easy in the evening, but goodluck during the day. Otherwise the hotel charges per night for parking your car there. Wish that the shower was a bit cleaner, otherwise a great stay!

Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It means so much that you have taken note of all of our hard work and attention to detail. I am happy to hear that our hotel especially the view was able to meet your overall satisfaction. I'll be sure to share your comments with our Director of Housekeeping in regards to the showers and get this area of opportunity addressed right away. We appreciate your insight on Sean Knibb’s creative design of The Hotel, it is truly a privilege to have worked with such an innovator of our time. We hope to welcome you back to The LINE LA soon. Warmest Regards, Director of Guest Experience Nick Giambelluca

Horrible at beginning better at the end!

The check in person was awful and rude and purposely changed our room to a out of service room that was disgusting stinks and had nothing in it because it was a unkept room and we have 2 children with us 8 and 12 I asked to switch rooms and the person that answered phone was super rude and asked me if I could read! We got our stuff and started to leave. A front desk person asked us where we were going( not they guy who checked us in he ignored us). We stated our experience and preston got the night manager and he gave us new room which was nice. The next day we met the Mgr in lobby and took off the $38.00 valet fee off our bill.

Good hotel in Koreatown.

Everything there is overpriced. Rooms do not come with basics necessities like microwave or coffee maker. You have to pay $5 for a cup of coffee. Mini bar might as well been a joke for how expensive it was. Don't even think about parking here. It's valet, and it costs about $50 per night. There are no "free" animenties, just the room and bed itself plus location. You can get free breakfast and much other features at a hotel that is nicer than this.

The Line Hotel

Pros: I particularly like the Commissary Restaurant. Really good food and attentive service. Lovely décor and ambiance with the plants and fabulous lighting
Cons: I really have no comments on anything that needs to be improved. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Location: Not much to do in the immediate area. Great bus transportation to downtown LA. Went shopping, got my nails done and went to the Lacma Art Museum. Fab!
I had a very good experience at the Line Hotel. I had a great view of Hollywood, the room was clean, comfortable and very pleasing to the eye. To my surprise I genuinely enjoyed the minimalist style and décor. The hotel staff, cleaning staff included were professional, helpful, and friendly.

party hotel

this hotel has a great fun vibe. Great restaurants and hang out location. For sleeping it was way too loud. You hear the music and also the street. Try to get a room on the top floors if you are interested in sleeping.

modern caveman hotel

Pros: nothing. My son liked the style and design. I felt like I was in a flintstone home. very uncomfortable I cancelled my last night their
Location: we walked around to find things to do. Nothing to do their . But subway was across the street if anyone cares
my son loved the rooms for their style. I did not I was scared of the full window and had to close it. I could hear all the traffic and high wind gusts all night. They don't provide coffee in room or lobby. I don't like the vallet and bell boy fees everywhere. The room was very small and no closet or space for luggage

Unique, enjoyable hotel

As a group of 6 people staying in 3 rooms, we found the hotel very enjoyable. We loved the unique decor, restaurants, and terrace as well as the central location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and overall, it was an experience in itself, staying at The Line.

Beware of the valet parking.

Cons: The overcharges from valet
I pulled up and unloaded my car, left it in the unload area. Returned to my car after dropping my bags off in my room. Came back later with my family and turned my car into valet for the night. After leaving the hotel, I received a bill of using the valet twice and was double charged. How could this be when I only used the valet once?!?!?! Apparently when you "unload" you are technically using the "valet service". I will definitely not be back.
