Could have been better....

The room was very clean but but very Dated the furniture was beat up.andthe chair had a big rip in it the carpet was old and tha air-conditioning was loudand did not cool the room down.for the money i spent i expected a much higher end place to stay. The staff seem to be okay except 4. When I got here, they put me on a waiting list for a room. For what I had prepaid for and then forgot that I was there. They were giving rooms out 2 other people before me. So i sat there for 1 1/2 hour. I really do hate leaving this kind of review. But with the money did I spent for this room? I would have expected a lot more....

Accessible room stay

We stayed in an accessible room. There was a little bit of difficulty moving with my wheelchair between the foot of the bed and the TV stand/desk. The role in shower was very good.

The room was very humid and the ac didn’t work to cool it off. Charging $20 per night for parking was ridiculous. My room key “timed out” in the middle of our stay. Not sure we will return.

Perfect location to visit the USS Iowa.

Perfect location to visit the USS Iowa, which was an easy 15 minute walk. We also walked around the cute "downtown" to restaurants. The kids loved the pool. The room itself was a little outdated but clean and comfortable enough. The staff were all very helpful.

Very friendly staff

Flew in to LAX and arrived later in the day. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby was very clean and bright. Upon getting to our floor, we could all smell something odd, which our police friend who was with us said was weed. So be it, and to each their own. Quick walk down the block to the italian restaurant and back for a nice night in bed. Beds were comfortable. This is our second time here as it is very close to the cruise port. We'll be back

Staff is excellent and welcoming. Rooms are generously sized but finishes are outdated and worn. Peeling wallpaper, poorly executed repairs, torn chair cover, cloth shower curtain, no room safe, advertised shuttle service doesn’t go to the Carnival cruise port, room windows open but no screens. Compared to other Crowne Plaza locations we have enjoyed, this one is due for an upgrade.
