Ernesto was amazing. He greeted us every morning for breakfast and every evening for dinner. He made my family feel extremely welcome and helped us practice our Spanish. The food at the resort was amazing and we really enjoyed the cabana service.

Memorable experience for entire family!

Hyatt Ziva blew past our expectations for a fun family destination. They have a dolphin pond right in front of the balconies in Oceanview rooms which were absolutely stunning. Kids were entertained the entire time and swimming with the Dolphins, we're sure will be a memory they will cherish for a long time. Pools and the beach were steps away from our room, always clean and serve staff friendly and available the entire time. Entertainment team kept kids and adults engaged and ensured a great time. Food options were great throughout the day including late night taco and hotdog stands. For vegetarians like us, the options were a bit repetitive but our stay was just enough for everyone to not get bored with the options. All in all a fantastic stay and we'll definitely visit Hyatt Ziva again! P.S. There is also a Hyatt Ziva Riviera in Cancun, which is a completely different resort. Its easy to overlook so please be sure to double check before you book.

Our butlers Natasha & Miguel were fantasic & great! They gave us such a great memorable times while we stayed in Hyatt Ziva and we always wanted to come back to have them as our butler again!! I rented a cabana for $169, but I was very disappointed with the experience. Before purchasing, I highly recommend checking the official website for the price list and details of what’s included. Don’t just buy whatever the staff tries to sell you without verifying. According to the website, the cabana rental should include premium bottled water and champagne, but we didn’t receive either of those. If I’m paying $169, I expect to receive everything that’s promised. It felt like they just charged us without giving the full experience. Double check before you pay!

We LOVED the Hyatt Ziva. I'm so glad I splurged for this classy hotel. I did a lot of research about food, best beaches to avoid sargassum, etc. First of all, the property is breathtaking, especially your first view walking into the lobby. So much blue water everywhere! The service is top notch; shout out to Eduardo, Sofia, Oscar, and Alex at the gym who made my birthday special, Amisaely, Juan at Tradewinds restaurant as well. We felt like VIPs the entire time. The food was great. I am not a big all inclusive fan because I get tired of the same choices but there were lots of options. We didn't get to try Le Bastille because we had kids with us, but liked the buffet for breakfast - amazing fruit and mexican food, crepes, mimosa, etc. and the coffee shop was super convenient and turned out excellent drinks. I was surprised how there was never a wait. Lorenzo's was our favorite for dinner. We took advantage of activities like Aqua Combat and bingo and just really leaned into the whole vibe. It was fun. Our teens just enjoyed hanging out with us at the pool, and relaxing in our personal hammock with view of the ocean (swim up room). We were able to get chair at the pool pretty easily in the late morning. The umbrellas were down on the 2 windy days but we just went to the beach where they have lots of shade from palapas over the loungers. Beach and pool so close- perfect layout! Drinks a little sweet so we stuck with beer, prosecco, and tequila on the rocks/soda
