The rooms were clean but we did have an issue with our mini fridge. It did not keep the drinks cold at first but they fixed that issue. Over all the food was better than I expected after reading the reviews. I personally ally enjoyed the food and thought everything was delicious. However the lack of choices of beer was disappointing. There was only Modelo as far as a beer choice. The elevators rarely worked and were often shut down. Not great when you are staying on the 8th floor. Additionally, the buildings themselves could definitely improve. Concrete falling off in some places. The adult pool has stains. Lastly I was not happy that room services was NOT included in the all inclusive. Had I known this, I would have booked else. Very disappointing. I will not be back.

Adult pool! Italian, steak house & French restaurants were very good. Staff were amazing! Property is well worn. Seaweed was crazy! Never went into Ocean! Couldn’t! Buffet was terrible. Kids everywhere! Standard room two fulls/beds were horrible! We finally got moved! Room was better! Humidity when we were there was absolutely horrible! Room smelled of mold/mildew. Would never have picked this place- But, we were there to attend a wedding! Skip this place!

We just stayed at the Crown Paradise resort. Let me tell you. It was our second time and this time was worse than a few years ago. Beware, when you check in they do not go through all of your reservation paperwork correctly and will try and call you back after you have started your trip to pay more money. The manager at check in thinks he is so smooth, but he is unprofessional and horrible at his job. Bad customer service. The manager said he wanted to keep my passports and would shut off our bracket to open our room if I didn't give them more money. I asked to see the managers boss, and he said ok but never got his boss for me. They don’t really care anyways. The building is a shell of its old self. Run down, old, falling apart. The food is horrible. The buffet, restaurants or by the pool the food I wouldn’t even serve to my dog. The hotel should be ashamed of themselves but they don’t care. Spanish speaking guests get treated way better. If you are from the USA stay away from this place. You will be treated like a pest and get horrible service. There are way better other resorts in Cancun don’t waste your money at Crown.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Crown Paradise Club. All of the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and very personable. Reyes, Joel and the kids club staff were a pleasure to meet and very helpful. Roberto who hosted the entertainment was especially a highlight! Will return again.

Property is very old, very crowded and did not meet expectations for cleanliness. Canceled and moved to another resort. Crown Plaza refused to provide a refund for the unused nights. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to stay somewhere else.

I give them 5 stars because the people were very nice at all times, especially when we came to the buffet. At times, we weren’t able to make our reservations for dinner on time, and they still accommodated us. They made us feel at home. I highly recommend it if you are traveling with small children. My children loved the water park and the big water slides by the main pool.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money We stayed at Crown Paradise expecting a relaxing experience, but unfortunately, it was far from that. We booked the "honeymoon room," thinking it would be something special, but it looked nothing like the photos online. The room was hot and stuffy — the A/C barely worked and made loud noises all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The cleanliness was another huge letdown. Housekeeping often skipped basic cleaning, and overall, the hotel just felt poorly maintained. Even the elevators were unreliable — sometimes not working at all — and when they did, they were hot and uncomfortable with no air conditioning. Customer service also missed the mark. Staff members didn’t seem interested in helping and often came off with an attitude. The hot water took forever to warm up, and small inconveniences just kept adding up. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel — especially not for anyone expecting a romantic or relaxing getaway. Definitely not worth the price.

The property was clean and well-kept. Plenty of pools for swimming for adults and children and the whole family. Plenty of dining options everything was conveniently located downstairs but you must make dinner reservations at 8 AM for that evening we enjoy the VIP option and the lounge upstairs.Jerry and Maria make you feel like family..We love the hospitality of all the staff! David and Yanelli at the buffet are so fast and attentive! There is entertainment at night as well as activities during the day. Love the CrownParadise it is home away from home. Great for families with children or there is an adult only vip option
