Amazing!

We loved our stay! No attention to detail was spared. It is a beautiful hotel! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a cocktail in the restaurant and we also had a nice time at the draftsman. The hotel is very warm and cozy. We loved the picnic basket breakfast and the in room coffee. Would highly recommend to anyone! We would come back just to stay there again!

Wonderful Hotel!

We had a lovely time at The Restoration with a couple of exceptions. Pros: Fabulous and friendly service, beautiful style and ambiance, perfect for exploring Downtown Asheville, comfortable room and bed, and a delightful continental breakfast delivered to your door in a cute picnic basket. Cons: There aren't any comfortable chairs with backs in the bedroom, and if you stay there on a Friday night, beware of the noise: A very large drum circle just across the street plays monotonously from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. It's super annoying!!

The Restoration is a beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms. Its location is perfect. The terrace rooms offer a great balcony. The only issue we had is that the television has the soap opera (motion blur) effect enabled, and it cannot be disabled by the hotel guest. I find this incredibly distracting when watching television and at minimum it should be a setting that can be disabled by the guest.
