I like that the place was clean, safe and comfortable. What I did not like is the area surrounding the hotel. I did not feel safe to walk as I do in other main cities... But the hotel itself and staff were just great.

I was very surprised that staying at a Hyatt Hotel it was so cut rate. I had no idea Hyatt had a no frills hotel in its chain Next time I certainly will research further.

We really enjoyed our stay in Charlotte. The hotel was convenient for us-we like to walk and explore. The room was clean, good size. Downtown was pleasing, we found good restaurants and parks. Lively. Parking at the hotel is valet only, but that's fine for a city hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious and has a beautiful rooftop view of the city!

Hotel is reasonaly priced for this area, great location for walking to events and restaurants. Only trouble was the toilet was broken (had to lift the lid off after every flush to line up the plunger so that it would refill) and they never came to fix it. We only stayed one night but pretty annoying.
