The room was clean, however, not a lot of amenities working due to a power outage that seems to only impact our hotel, and lasted most of the second day. The communication was non-existent from hotel staff as to a potential solution or timing. Elevators didn’t work for half the stay, luckily we were only on the second floor.

Took my girlfriend to victoria for the weekend for valentinesz The room had no hot water in the shower. really enjoyed a freezing shower in morning a “4 star” for $430 a night. toilet water ran non stop all night. we had a bigger better room at the strathcona for 120 a night WITH hot water. Won’t be back wouldn’t reccommend this place to anyone i don’t even like. could’ve had the whole weekend in vic without the sub par view of the torch on roof right below the window. Paid extra to upgrade the room even. I can’t imagine what i would’ve got if i didn’t. They wouldn’t offer any sort of compensation at all. The picture of the room i booked online were nothing like i paid for. Feeling like i was presented some false advertising while booking all for about $500. complete joke. Very dissapointed to say the least, quite upset i wasted this money. STAY AWAY.

The staff was courteous and room was pleasant. There was a power outage for almost a full day and for this reason I can't fully rate the hotel. We didn't get to try their restaurant (the menu looked fantastic) or the pool.

Power outage, caused delays in check in, giant line up. Did not get into hotel until 6 pm. Enough time to get ready for dinner but disappointed that the hotel didn’t offer some type of compensation like a gift card to the coffee shop or restaurant.
