Great location, beautiful view and helpful staff. The rooms however were lacking. When you pay $500-$600/nt it would have been nice to have a dresser in the room, a full length mirror, extra shelving in the bathroom for toiletries, a microwave, and a kettle to make tea and maybe warm up some food. Seating to enjoy the view from the balcony would have been thoughtful. I understand the balconies were tiny but even having a couple of stools to sit out would have been a nice touch. The gym is all but 3 machines and a bench. To have hundreds of rooms and a tiny gym that is so claustrophobic that is just not right. To remain comfortable, you would only want to be there alone or with just one other person. The staff were wonderful though, all except one man at the front who seemed so annoyed and tired of his job.

The general policy seems to be to have you upgrade your room at an extra cost by allocating a “ view restricted room “ upon arrival which is unlikely to be acceptable. We were misinformed regarding complimentary products and again an attempt was made to charge extra , although the hotel itself is very nice we had virtually no internet as it constantly drops out even after a staff member attempted to solve the issue.

It is a very nice and quiet hotel, good for a family. The cafe and restaurant are both great. We had the pastries from the cafe every morning. The tenderloin at the restaurant was great and the salmon was slightly above average. The room with two double beds was very spacious. I recommend they provide more drawers for clothes. The location is great. Right on the harbour and close to lots of attractions. The pool and fitness room are really nice. The staff are very friendly.

I was upgraded to the garden suite overlooking the Japanese Garden with beautiful view and large area The bathroom was amazing as was spaciousness of the suite This is my second visit and definitely will recommend to people

Overall the hotel was very nice. Self parking and valet parking is available but very high priced. The facility is isolated being on a point near the water so there is limited parking anywhere in the area. Other than the parking issue the facility was a great place to stay.
