Nice position on harbour. Ugly building but best thing about it is looking out of it rather than at it.

Victoria is a stunningly charming city, and the Inn at Laurel Point offers a wonderful place to rest from the day. We spent 3 nights here and the bed was comfortable, the service was prompt and the room service was delicious. There were a few oddities in the room that were a little uncomfortable (especially the bathroom) and this can be expected in an older property like this, but overall, we had a beautiful view and a comfortable stay. We’d definitely come back and stay here again.

The lobby and photos made the property seam better than it was. The rooms were dated and overpriced. One of the reasons for booking was the pool, which was run down and quite dated again. We were expecting more and left disappointed after paying for one of the more expensive hotel in town. Average but wouldn't stay again.

We stayed here on a two day trip to Victoria. The room was fantastic with a great view and very comfortable! There’s a great walking trail just outside for easy access to the main stretch and waterfront. A bit longer of a walk than we liked to the main foodie part of town but still doable. Parking was easy but at the cost of $28. In all, a great stay and highly recommend.

Lovely waterfront Inn.

Beautiful location, harbour view was lovely. Perfect vantage for watching the float planes come and go. Staff was friendly and kind. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing!!

We had an amazing stay in a room with a view of the harbour. Staff were friendly and always upbeat and smiling - everyone. You step out the door onto the paths along the water and can easily walk to anywhere downtown. We shall return!

I find so much of how one perceives a place has to do with one's expectations. We had stayed at the Inn at Laurel Point before and we had high expectations. What we did not realize is that our previous stay was in the Erikson Wing. So when we arrived in our room on the Laurel wing, we were disappointed. The view and the room was not near what we were expecting. The next morning we shared our concerns with one of the receptionist/hosts at the front desk. She was so helpful and accommodating. She helped us make the necessary upgrade to the Erickson wing. Our upgraded room was fantastic! The view was amazing. The bathroom with its large soaker tub, glass shower and duel sinks were so much more than we were expecting. We ordered room service and the food was amazing. Thank you to the host at Laurel Point for making our stay such a great experience. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Liked that the hotel was in a quiet and walkable neighbourhood. Hotel was very clean and had good accessibility for both seniors and accommodated pets. Hotel Parking for vehicles larger than standard sized automobiles (pick-up truck) size was not available and we had to park in nearby neighborhood and pay additional fees.
