The staff was very professional and friendly without being intrusive . The rooms were very well supplied . We think the hotel needs more or bigger hot tubs ! The buffet breakfast was truly grand and impeccably fresh .
We got the buffet breakfast , since it was my birthday . Our waiter apologized that there wasn't birthday cake at breakfast time ; but then he showed up with the little muffins with a birthday wish and candle ! How charming

The staff was incredible. The biggest shoutout to the bellhops who were so welcoming and helpful. They showed us how to catch our bus to the suspension bridge, and pointed us in the right direction for attractions. Super friendly. The room was beautiful, clean, and a great view.

Dining room and bar closed for New Years buffet, so we were disappointed that we couldn't sit in the lounge and have an afternoon drink. Elevators were overly busy and escalator was closed off. No-where to even sit in lobby area. Staff were not helpful in suggesting an alternative place to go for a drink/snack. Room was not ready for us - we arrived a bit early and noted many others were checking in early. Our room was finally read a 4:05 pm. Luggage was not delivered to room as promised and we had to wait for over half an hour which delayed our planned time in the pool. Two cleaning carts placed outside our room when we arrived - partially blocking our entry. Room key-card did not work in elevator. Jacuzzi jets were not working (and other guests told us they hadn't been working all week), jacuzzi was also not clean, too many people in hottub. Pool was wonderfully warm and very clean. Clock beside bed had plugs for charging devices - it didn't work. Appreciated the partial water view, room was comfortable, and we were able to store our luggage until our room was ready - and they called us when our room was ready. For a luxury hotel, we expected more and it would have been nice to have been notified of the planned New Years brunch. We really had looked forward to sitting in the lounge and taking in the view while we waited for our room - we ended up going across the street to the Waterfront Hotel's bar. We feel that the Pan Pacific can do better.

Overpromised and under delivered on everything. Pan Pacific website is terrible. Website said pool was open until 11 and we planned around that. They closed it at 10.

Super comfortable beds, and great service. The food at the bar, however, was overpriced and not very good! A $58 steak that wasn’t cooked right and slimy onions that tasted like they were 3 days old and gave us tummy troubles after eating. Definitely not worth it! Also the hot tub water desperately needs to be cleaned. It was very murky and the jets didn’t work.

Smooth and easy check-in, breakfast was fantastic with a great view. The entire stay felt effortless! I didn't have much chance to explore the amenities as I was busy with the HYROX competition during the weekend, but I could see the pool and everything right from my room. The view of the North Shore mountains was a highlight.
