Room was clean and the staff was friendly. The parking situation is a bit janky. The entrance is in a creepy back alley with homeless people living there, and you have to get out of your car to scan your room key to open the gate. As a female travelling alone, it was a little unnerving after dark. But the hotel itself was nice.

I stay here 1 day a week when I’m in Vancouver. I normally rate this place a 9 out of ten for location convenience and value. In low or shoulder season the prices are excellent. As usual i booked on Expedia with a total 1 night rate of $196 includes all taxes and fees. However when my travel companion checked in they told him the room was not paid for and that they would need to charge him for a daily rate on his credit card. When I arrived myself at the hotel 45 minutes later I went to the front desk and they quickly resolved the situation and confirmed that the room had indeed been paid for in advance through Expedia at the rate of $196. Late that evening I received an email saying that my travel companion credit card has been pre charged $535 for a single nights rate. HUH??? Explain to me how the burrard could ever justify a $500 per night room rate in the off season. I hope the owners see my review and explain further this outrageous rate??? That same night we could have gone to the 4.5 star pan pacific hotel for $275. The day a 2.5 to 3 star hotel charges $500 plus dollars per night for a room, we have definitely lost the plot!!!!
