We had a recently renovated 18th floor suite. The view was stunning. The kitchen was very functional, including a small dishwasher. The single beds were not that comfortable.

Stayed here for one night in the Penthouse suite because my partner and I decided to splurge a bit for our anniversary. Unfortunately, our stay started out rocky as the room was not ready for us to enter it for our 4 pm check in time. The staff explained that the previous people checked out extremely late; however, they waived our parking fee for the night (and juice), which was appreciated but still a bit inconvenient for us. The suite was large and the view was astounding! Full view of English Bay, Stanley Park in the near distance

Staff and service was nice i got a early check in to my suite tho the housekeeping accidentally walked into my room without knocking as i was changing, i guess they didnt know i got the early check in. And the latch on the door was broken and locked me out of the room sometimes. Overall the cleanliness was good and i had a nice stay.

At first was pleased that the Sandman was in the middle of a neighborhood which made it easy to be out and about, however I quickly realized that, the neighborhood had some challenges when it came to safety, cleanliness, and homelessness, and that was not the worst part of my stay. I ended up being eaten alive with bed bugs. I will never stay there or at another Sandman Suites again.

The staff was helpful, and friendly. Offered tips on places to eat,walk,and directions to the beach and bus.We had a great room with a view of the harbor and a small kitchen and balcony. Would highly recommend for the price and use again!
