Some highs and some lows with this stay. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and provided an early check-in and late check-out to accommodate my travel schedule which I really appreciated. However, the room itself was just okay and the view was depressing - my room looked directly out a back alley into a concrete office building that was so close I had to keep my curtains closed all the time so the office staff couldn't see in. I ordered room service on my first night and while the meal was good it took almost an hour to be delivered after getting lost in the dinner rush of the restaurant. The room service staff apologized but offered no compensation for the delay and still charged me the full room service delivery fee and service charges. Overall I would say there are better options if you're looking for a hotel downtown Vancouver.

Clean room, welcome note left with chocolate. My only concern was that I booked three rooms and requested to pay in person as this was a gift from my mother and they put a hold or pre authorization on my card for the three rooms which as a single mom interfered with my travel plans.
