The hotel is in a great location for downtown with everything walkable. The rooms feel a bit dated but are very comfortable. We had a room at the rear of hotel so the view was drab and the alleyway was noisy first thing in the morning. The staff are lovely and all very helpful. It’s not cheap and we have an issue at paying over CA$500 a night and getting no breakfast with it but that seems to be the way these days.

The staff were absolutely lovely, very warm and welcoming. The little welcome chocolates were delicious and lots of little details went into our stay that made it beyond expectations. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for exceptional service at a very elegant hotel. We were in the suite and it was spacious and meticulously clean.

Wonderful, worth every penny. The amazing professional and attentive team were proactive and stopped at nothing to make our stay smooth and luxurious. The basics were covered brilliantly with a clean and well appointed peaceful room with excellent new beds and indulgent bedding. We also enjoyed cocktails and food in the lounge bar which were perfectly executed. From welcome at kerbside, to early check in to a brilliant concierge service from Melvin, everything went as you’d hope for from the best. This is how a hotel should be. Now I’ve stayed here once I wouldn’t consider any other Vancouver hotel for future trips here. Well done to everyone on the team, perfect job.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at the Wedgewood. Our first 2 experiences were top notch. This time the room smelled musty and I likely should have asked to be moved. I thought the smell may diminsh, but it didn’t. We had an early start to the morning, so didn’t have much time to make the request. The staff is always friendly

I recently stayed at the Wedgewood Hotel and was very disappointed with the experience. Upon arrival, the staff was not welcoming or friendly, which set a negative tone right away. The room we were given on the 7th floor had a terrible odor, and unfortunately, my family became sick after the first night. When we requested a room change, the staff seemed very reluctant to accommodate us, though they eventually did move us for the second night. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected much higher standards in both hospitality and room quality. This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I would not recommend staying here.
