Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. They've got an "Alexa-like" system in-room that connects to the front desk, so it's easy to get things like towels, coffee, pillows, etc. Laundry is free (there's a laundry room and they'll give you complimentary detergent and fabric softener at the front desk) which is awesome. Location is in walking distance to most areas (Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown). Downside is that breakfast is not included; there's a breakfast lounge area but you have to pay. Overall, a wonderful stay.

This hotel is outstanding. We got off of a cruise ship at 9:30AM and just showed up at the hotel expecting to inquire about them storing our luggage while we went out and explored Vancouver until check in time. Instead, the front desk came up with a room that was ready and let us check in RIGHT then and there. Amazing! Very nice hotel in a nice area. THEN... after we left the next day, we got to our next hotel and realized that we had left something in the room safe at Hotel Blu. A short phone call to them, and later we got the word that our item was packaged with full instructions on how to get it sent to us promptly. Incredible!! Thank you Hotel Blu!! I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel was fabulous. Our room was too hot but they had us switch rooms and all was great. The actually had someone come to our room asking if we needed anything such as toothpaste or brush soap shower cap etc. The staff was very helpful with whatever we needed but the concierge Trevor was OUTSTANDING hats off to him. They had sent up chips, wine and a signed card wishing me a happy birthday. That’s what I call going the extra mile.

The hotel was overall amazing! Best beds I have ever slept on. The most amazing aspect was the staff. We were expecting a package from the US and because of the BC holiday on Monday it wasn’t due to arrive until Tuesday and we were checking out on Tuesday. They offered to call the UPS office and ask that it be delivered early Tuesday. They kept us updated regularly and even extended the time we could stay in our room by an hour. We waited until 12:50 and decided to leave. The front desk staff said they would cover the tax and duty and email us as to how we wanted it shipped to us. We left, the box arrived at12:55, they called us and we drove back to the hotel to pick it up. Some of the women who helped us were Mimi and Rachael. I know there were more but I do not know the names. The valet person (tall man) was also helpful! I cannot say enough positive about this hotel. The breakfast is incredible and delicious. We will be back!

This was our first visit to Vancouver, so we wanted to stay in a central location within walking distance to all of the sites. Hotel Blu was perfect! It was easy to get to from YVR on the Canada Line SkyTrain, with the City Centre stop only about 6 blocks away. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean with nice amenities, including free bike and helmet rentals which we took advantage of. If we were to visit Vancouver again, we would definitely stay here!

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, they offer nice amenities including free bike rentals with helmets, and it was impeccably clean. The location was very central and we were able to walk or bike everywhere we wanted to go. We took the train to and from YVR. The City Centre stop was only about 6 blocks away. Very convenient and much less expensive than a taxi!
