Honeymoon getaway

Pros: Everything
We had a wonderful experience. Rain the whole time but didn't stop us. The hotel is walking distance to a lot of fun things or a short cab ride. Loved our harbor view.

Great Stay!

Cons: No free Internet
This was a great stay. Everything you expect from a stay at the Westin. I stayed in a King Room in the Tower and I was delighted. A great view of the marina and the mountains beyond. It's also relatively close to the happenings in the city ($7.00 cab ride). I leave one mark off the value because the internet access comes at a premium.

Incredible View, Wonderful Location

Pros: Close restaurants, on the water, near stanley park
Cons: breakfast cost was a bit high
This hotel is perfectly placed to make a visit to Vancouver one of the most enjoyable experiences you will have! Just outside Stanley Park, this is one of the only hotels actually on the waterfront. It was within walking distance of the major downtown areas, Denman St. (restaurants of every ethnic description), and close to plenty of other interesting locations. We found ourselves spending a lot of time gazing out of our room over the waterway, both night and day. The staff was helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome from beginning to end.

Vacation with friends

Room was great. Would stay again. We liked the bathroom a lot. However, the double beds were full size not the queen size like the ones we have in the U.S.

Incredible view and amazing service

Our 6 night stay at the Westin Bayshore was close to perfect, from the availability of early check-in to the stellar service and stunning harbor, mountain, and city views. Our room was on the 18th floor of the newly remodeled tower and the sliding glass doors and step out balcony greatly enhanced our experience. The exceedingly kind and professional staff helped us navigate this end of the city, find late night food options, and enjoy the beauty all around us. We enjoyed watching the sea planes land and gulls congregate, but I can imagine that lighter sleepers might have had trouble with these as well as elevator noises. However, it is difficult to imagine that anyone would have trouble sleeping on the amazing Heavenly beds. I have back problems so I'm picky with beds and this bed was outstanding, nearly erasing my back pain completely. The wonderful staff alone would be enough to go back. We loved it!
