The location is excellent and Manuel(s) were both knowledgeable about the area and made good recommendations. The front desk was not great. We requested a 1 hour late check out and it was refused the night before and the morning of. We were quite disappointed when Joyce at the front told us a chocolate bar (10$) would be charged. We explained we did not eat a chocolate bar and then quickly ran back to the room to take a photo of the untouched snacks. Front desk staff were robotic in their manners. Not genuine. The room was not too clean, especially for an OCD person. The sheets were never changed. This I know because of a stain on the side of the sheets. There were no hooks to hang your clothes or towel in the bathroom. It was broken off. Not all the outlets worked to charge our devices. Overall, it was ok because the location was great.

We stayed at Sutton Place for 3 nights. All the staff we encountered during our stay were extremely courteous & helpful. The bellman named Mark was a great resource about restaurants & things to do within walking distance and loved to share his knowledge of the area.

My experience at The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver was amazing. Upon arriving they were able to accommodate to our request for a hairdryer and microwave. Noticed our washroom sink was a little drained. When I notified housekeeping they immediately fixed the issue. The hotel is located in a walkable location. Making it very convenient to get to places and commute. I look forward to booking with this hotel again next time I am in the city!

The Sutton Hotel was perfect for our stay in Vancouver. The location was amazing had great shopping and dining all around. It was clean and the staff was always helpful. Highly recommend.

Love how this hotel is conveniently located by Robson Street. The room is clean and the washroom is super relaxing, love the floor mat and L'Occitane toiletries. The front desk staff are helpful. There are complimentary bottled water in the room to stay hydrated. Overall a very pleasant stay and just as good as Sutton Place in Toronto, although not as spacious.

The carpets were stained throughout the property. There was a large stain on the carpet right beside the bed which looked like vomit. It was not cleaned prior to them checking us in. Very disappointing for such an expensive place

Everything about our stay was great. Don’t expect early check in, while staff did their best to accommodate there was a ton of people requesting early check in (including myself by an hour). They will take your number and call if your room is ready early and offer the lobby while you wait. Staff was very nice. Oh and DO NOT pick anything up or move anything not just in the fridge but in the food and drink basket area above that lookalike it’s included-it’s not and they’re on sensors that automatically bill your credit card.
