This is a cheaper option downtown and they don't surprise you. The bedding is very cheap, no fitted sheet, cheap uncomfortable material and bad pillows. The windows are very old and drafty, which means you have to run to room heater and it is very old and loud and works poorly. Not a place to take a date, but good for cheaper sleep.

Great welcome by the hotel staff. Luckily even though we were a few hours early for check-in, our room was available. Only downside was we could hear the noise from the showers in the adjacent rooms.

Loved location & staff. The air conditioning was broken & our room was 83 degrees Fahrenheit so difficult to sleep.

Felt a teeny bit on the dirty side, but not that bad. Awesome location and price, service was good, parking was reasonable and convenient.

Great location - close to clothing stores, food stalls, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and attractions. Taking the train to the airport was very easy to navigate. The hotel itself has the charm of a boutique hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side as compared to larger rooms that fit 2 beds, but I was aware of this while booking and that was fine with me. The room was perfect. I liked the decor - it made the hotel unique. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. The rooms are TINY so our family of 4 was so cramped and on top of one and other. There wasn't any room to lounge so we spent as little time in the room as possible. We did have a mini fridge that was ice cold so that was all a plus. I'm pretty sure the beds are made of concrete and the sheets are clean but make an annoying sound every time you flop and move. As if your sleeping in a plastic sleeping bag. another plus is theres a starbucks a few doors down and a short walk to yaletown where they have lots of restaurants. We used the parking garage for 1 night, its across the street and on the 5th level. It was gated so seemed super safe (the parking garage has a gate that closes in the middle of the night and you need a barcode key (from the front desk) to access the elevator from the street and your room key gets you in the parking gate, but 14CAD a night is redicilous for a parking fee. Seeing the hotel is right on the street its super noisy, but theres not really anyway to get away from that. Overall its a decent hotel for the price for a few nights (we stayed 7 nights and that was way to long for our family in the cramped hotel, i wish we would have splurged on a bigger room). Its just not meant for families or more then 2 people in a room. Also one bit of info is they turn off the AC in oct for the winter season, and fans only blow hot air. It gets humid and stinky in the rooms. Staff gave us a fan.

Liked the boutique style of the hotel and the location. Did not like the way front desk staff handled the 4 AM fight that broke out in the hallway outside my room door. They smirked when I complained about it and only offered a free breakfast for the disturbance.
