We came around 4 pm and our suite was still not available. We were offered gold suite upgrade for 180$ day on the price of our Junior suite. The receptionist said it was recently remodeled and upgraded. We got some drinks at the bar and came to the room about 45 minutes later our luggage still wasn’t in the room! We called the reception desk, no answer. My husband needed his medication so he went down to see what was going on with our luggage. The guy said it just went to the room upstairs. After 15 minutes same person came with our luggage! Our room/suite was dirty especially bathroom. Bathroom is very small, and I don’t think it has been remodeled in any way. I have shown to the person that came with luggage and hoped he will send someone to clean the bathroom (I have pictures) but nothing happened. The manager called tomorrow, he apologized for the luggage and offered us one breakfast although we had breakfast at the Gold lounge. I said there’s no need for that since we have breakfast included in price. The Gold lounge is another story. Limited breakfast, limited space, never offered any vegetables for breakfast. We came around 9.15 and waited until 9.30, we grabbed some food and started eating when lady came and warned us that breakfast is served until 10.00. This hotel was a huge disappointment.

The location of the hotel is great. However, the room left much to be desired. I booked a junior suite and whilst the room was spacious, the bathroom was tiny and located next to the room entrance. I have literally never encountered a layout like this! The wallpaper on the corridor leading to the room was also peeling and hanging off the wall. Overall, the property feels old and dated and in need of a refresh.

It was fine

The hotel was fine overall, but we found it to be a bit overrated. My kids actually preferred a few of the other places we stayed during our trip. The bathroom was especially small, with no counter space, and the light switch is oddly located outside the bathroom—which made nighttime use a little tricky. We had to request a refrigerator since the one in the room was a fully stocked minibar, but they did bring one up promptly. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable, the location is amazing and we enjoyed our stay! I wouldn't spend more than $350/night, though.
