Staff were absolutely amazing, hotel smells so fresh and clean. Small fire incident happened near the hotel and the staff handled the situation with grace and never hesitated to explain the situation. At one point the power had to be turned off to the whole building due to the fire outside. The staff was calm, efficient and even brought around flashlights to ensure all of the guests felt as comfortable as possible even with the situation at hand. :)

Absolutely loved my stay! This hotel was the perfect spot for exploring downtown Vancouver. The room was clean, cute, and fun. The bed was very comfortable. I really loved the high-quality toiletries (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.). The breakfast was delicious and fresh and it was nice that it was also open until 10 am incase you wanted a later start to the day. What really stood out about this hotel was the staff. Every person we interacted with was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to be helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My feelings about the Belmont Hotel are mixed. We stayed here at the end of an Alaskan cruise whose final port was Vancouver. Pros - friendly staff, free canned drink per guest, had 2 bikes they loaned out (did not use), and the location downtown is great. Cons - small rooms, each room is configured differently and ours did not leave a lot of space to open a suit case, their restaurants (Living Room and The Basement) were closed (possibly for renovations), and the surrounding neighborhood had a lot of homeless and questionable people.

Worth checking out.

Hotel had some unique designs. Refrigerator look like an amplifier. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable. The downtown location was good ,except for a few blocks in One Direction was a little questionable. Close to Gastown and the harbor.

Great boutique hotel with clean newly renovated rooms. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The nespresso coffee is great and it is well worth it to get breakfast included. Transportation and local sites are very close and walkable. Area looked a bit iffy upon arrival, but we all felt very safe walking day or night.

The staff are very polite and helpful. However，the only disadvantage is that the rooms are sound proof at all. We heard the upstairs’ noise in 5am!

The property was very clean the staff was great ! What I didn't like, was the breakfast they provided it was absolutely awful... For what they charged for breakfast the breakfast should have been outstanding, there was nothing ourstanding about it ... if the breakfast was included in the the price of the stay i would still have said the breakfast was almost inedible ... but to pay for what they served was shameful... I strongley suggest they revamp the breakfast
