I have stayed here several times before. It is well situated off in the center near the Harbour but on a quieter street. Once upon a time the concierge level was on a floor with a view of the harbour and legislative buildings. These services now are on the ground floor in a windowless area. Not nearly as inviting.

I’ve stayed at this Marriott or sent my clients or contractors here many times in the past teo years. But recently, the construction noise, poor internet connections, and the well-meaning but overwhelmed staff have put a major dent in my view of this hotel. This is NO LONGER a good Marriott. You can get the same lousy sleep, laggy slow Internet, and harried staff at a Super 8 for one quarter the price! Also, too many of the wrong kind of American tourists, unless you like the farty and loud kind with spoiled kids. Hope they fix this place as it used to be great.
