Was informed from the moment we booked in… that there is no guarantee for third party bookings… really we were booked in for 8 nights. We wanted a room with a king bed… they gave us two doubles. We were told that we could upgrade to a suite for an extra $80 plus taxes. No we just wanted a king… but that was too big an ask. Frankly not impressed that the toilet roll they provide was of poorer quality than the cheapy hotel we used for a quick decompress on our return to Toronto. We have no intention of returning to this hotel.

Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. Some parts of the hotel seem a tad 'tired', though. We didn't have a nice view (looked directly out to the roof of the pool area) and when we asked for a different room, were told it would be an upcharge and then that they didn't even have rooms available, thought the hotel truly did not seem busy enough to be full. Bathroom amenities are wonderful, including high-quality soap, shampoo, etc. and rooms were very quiet - did not hear any doors closing at all. Did not use the pool or other facilities so can't comment. Would stay again, particularly because of proximity by foot to downtown.
