The hotel and staff were excellent.
The concern we have is significant though.
We booked our flights to each have a carry on. A vehicle to have 6 people travel safety and 5 star hotel.
When we called to confirm with Travelocity our trip would go as planned we were informed they could not confirm the vehicle would have seating for 6 people. The Travelocity assistance told us to cancel the vehicle booking and rebook a larger vehicle. He told me this was the only way to confirm we would have a 6 passenger vehicle. I was very reluctant to do this but the
Travelocity assistant stated there was no other way to confirm the vehicle. So I do cancel and rebook but durning this rebooking the airline tickets were downgraded unbeknown to us to ULTRABASIC!!!!! We get to the airport and we were told we each had to pay for our carry on and the baggage would have to paid for as a checked baggage. No matter how we tried to explain it was a Travelocity error, we did not have any alternative.
Travelocity has not taken responsibility for their deceptive error nor have offered to reimburse us for these costs.
To date I have not heard back from Travelocity to advise us of what they will do to reimburse us for their assistant’s deception to all 6 of our tickets.
