Older with lots of character. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very loud, though, as it is right in the heart of the downtown in Victoria. If you like to be in the thick of things, it's your place!

We arrived at 4 p.m. The room was ready but they put us in the wrong room.At first they wanted us to accept it.I was not pleased. Then another girl came and gave us the room I had originally requested. From then on I was happy.Walking distance from the musium and art gallery and the things we wanted to see was very nice.

"Excellent Value For The Money And Great Location"
We stayed 2 nights in this motel and were very pleased with everything. The staff were friendly, the room was clean but very basic with no air conditioning. They did provide fans to circulate the air though which helped keep it comfortable however I can see it getting quite warm in the rooms during the summer. They were more than happy to accept our two small doggies for a small fee. The coffee they provided was very good quality as were the toiletries. I found the beds to be very average. They were not uncomfortable by any means but not luxury either. The one thing I noticed is that the towels they provide you with are more like over sized dish towels rather than a bath towel. They are VERY thin and barely good for drying yourself with. Perhaps you should pack your own towel. Overall, I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is in a good location that's walking distance to everything downtown. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
