The property was short staffed, no towels at pool, and extremely noisy. We were put in a room next to the elevator and people were yelling, banging on doors, and kept up by the outdoor street noise. I spent a lot of money to stay and got no sleep. I would not choose this hotel again.

Everything I liked about this property: beds were very comfortable, AC & elevator worked excellent, vehicle parking & security was provided as well as a pool, room safe & refrigerator. Had English TV channels, a pool w/towels (that you could borrow) & take to the beach that was a walk across the street

It was very poor , the communication prior to the stay was very poor. I called prior to get the amount for hold fee was never mentioned that it was 500$ the room service their was non. Had to ask twice to get my roomed cleaned , went to get access to the laundry room and they took away my access to my room . It was Very difficult to get towels . I will not be staying here again. However as far as the convenience to the beach was right across the street, restaurants all over and super close to Viejo San Juan

Mixed Experience Despite VIP Status As VIP guests, we anticipated a memorable stay at TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde. While there were some positive aspects, several disappointments overshadowed our experience. Positive Aspects: • VIP Benefits: We appreciated the complimentary drinks and the discounts offered at the on-site restaurants, which added value to our stay. Negative Aspects: • Check-In Process: Despite being offered early check-in, upon arrival, we were informed that no rooms were available. We, along with several other guests, had to wait in the lobby for an extended period. When we finally checked in, the front desk staff provided minimal information about the hotel’s amenities and services. • Staff Attitude: Throughout our stay, the staff appeared disinterested and inattentive, often ignoring guests and failing to offer assistance. This lack of hospitality was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. • Room Condition: Upon entering our room, we discovered plumbing issues with the toilet. Despite contacting the front desk three times, no assistance was provided. Fortunately, my partner managed to address the problem temporarily. Additionally, the balcony did not match the images advertised online, leading to further disappointment. Overall Experience: While the VIP perks were a nice touch, the overall experience was marred by unfulfilled promises, lackluster service, and misleading representations. Improvements in staff training and accurate marketing

Hotel is conveniently located. 10 minutes from the airport and just 5 min walking to isla verde beach. Rooms are small. Buffet breakfast was expensive for what they offer. I called the operator at night to get some towels but nobody answered. Parking is $20 per night. They charged me $30 for a service fee per day which at the end means a high price for what we get.

We arrived in the middle of the night and the hotel was easy for the taxi to get to. Overnight reception just ok (maybe tired!). We paid for a balcony, which consisted of a small piece of roof with tall walls overlooking a freeway. Not worth getting. Daytime personnel was very kind and helpful with questions.
