What a wonderful resort. From the lobby, the rooms , the pools , the restaurants and many bars. We enjoyed every moment on property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Surrounding nice..room far from restaurants & lobby. Tapas restaurant food menu is terrible. Cheap food for price. Also, they give you two tickets to get a free drink, but they don’t let you pick the drink. It’s whatever they say you have to drink and we did not like what they offered. Steak at hibachi restaurant was tough even though it was medium rare. Soup nasty!! Rice was good. Cook forgot my steak the first time so had to make more.

My husband and I came for a quick long weekend getaway sans kids. We were looking for time on the beach, quiet, and sleep! The Hyatt Grand Regency did not disappoint! The hotel was completely full when we were there, but you would never have known it. The property is huge, so getting a chair on the beach or by the pool, or even grabbing a cabana by the pool, was never an issue. Food and drink service by the pool or in the restaurants was efficient and I thought the food was great. Certainly not the best meals of my life, but for resort food, a cut above. The grounds are gorgeous and incredibly well maintained. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean each day after maid service. You pay a lot for this hotel, but it felt worth it to me. We are already talking about coming back next year.

This was a very nice resort. A few pros and cons: PROS- 1-Super friendly/helpful staff 2-Beautiful grounds/room/pool 3-Golf carts to bring you around the sprawling property was a nice touch 4-Servers at the pool were super attentive CONS- 1-VERY FAR from everything - it was an hour drive to both Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest-so if you don't have a car you are STUCK there. 2-Not many food options. The restaurant choices were expensive and not that great. Room service and the pool food truck were honestly the best options. 3-Nitpicky but....there was no clothes iron in the room and only one trash can....for as nice a room it was odd that the simple amenities like these were missing. TIPS- 1-If you have a car check out Kioskos de Luquillo. Great food options about 20 minutes away with tons of variety. 2-Bring a refillable water bottle. There are ice/fill stations around the property. 3-Walmart is close by and a great option for snacks/drinks so you are paying exorbitant resort fees for food/alcohol etc. And sunscreen too! ($26 for a spray can of sunscreen in the gift shop....ouch!) 4-Spotin El Yunque Rainforest/Waterslide adventure was AMAZING!

I did not like the limited dining options given the remoteness of the property. There could have been lighter options through out the day and lunch grill option at the smaller pool.

This is a beautiful and an amazing property that is meticulously maintained. The accomodations was very modern, clean and spacious. The property is enourmous with plenty of walkways to walk, run and bike. They had free rental for bikes, kayak, yard games for all ages. The property was right on the beach front with easy access from our room, less than 1 min walk. Although we did not play golf there, there was an awesome golf course on site that I would say is on par to any of the PGA tour courses for its grandeur. Overall, I was impressed by how really nice the staff was and the beauty of this property.

Lived the property! Very pretty very well kept. Beach part is small but lots of pools. Be prepared for many children it seems to be very popular with families but that was to be expected. The only downside is that the on site restaurants seem to book out fast was a bit challenging if you don’t plan ahead
