This place was great. Looks like recently remolded. Check in process was the best. I texted management and the responded with the code to the room. Amazing! The decor was nicely done and the furnishing was new and moderned. The shower was amazing, the best shower I've had in my month long stay in Puerto Rico. I would give it a five star, the neighborhood is sketchy even for a Puerto Rican.

The room is very basic, and it was not completely clean when we arrived (there was sand on the floor and the toilet paper seemed dirty). There was no one in the reception to give us an extra sheet (even though we called the number they left there). The room was next to the kitchen, so we could hear noise from other guests and from the busy street outside. I would not stay there again. The only good thing is location. There was everything nearby and I felt safe.

First I would like to say that the staff, minus the guy, were friendly and helpful. Nobody will be on duty after 4pm. The pictures are VERY deceiving and a lot was left out in the description. Like the walls are paper thin. You can hear every single door close and anybody talking. The bathroom is not connected to the room. If it’s not a hot day outside you will not have hot water but luckily we didn’t have that problem. If you were thinking about getting a car rental DONT there is zero parking at anytime of the day or night. The neighborhood does look sketchy but I never felt unsafe coming in at night. It is walking distance from the beach and restaurants and bars. The a/c in the room was amazing but will leave the floor damp. No cleaning service daily like fresh towels, sheets or wash cloths. If you like hostels you will love this place.

Little gem in Santurce
Little hotel like a hostel. Very clean and easy to follow steps from email when we got there at midnight to enter. Very safe hotel and worth price to lay your head after partying at La Plaza del Mercado de Santurce about 8 minute walk away.

Great location, simple additions would be helpful
I did not realize the bathroom was not in our actual room. It was a private, locked bathroom for our use only but I did not know that ahead of time. I could have missed it in my reservation. I suggest a mirror in the room so we do not have to go down the hall to the separate bathroom. A shelf in the bathroom and drawer in the room would be super helpful. We locked the key in the bathroom but they came out and opened it for us which was much appreciated. Perhaps have a second key in the room as I am sure this is an easy mistake. The people were great and so was the location. I loved the community kitchen.

The place was exactly what they said. Very cool indoor spaces. Nice room with plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The staff was very helpful in answering all of our questions and getting us a parking spot at the last minute.We also checked in late and the person on call was extremely helpful in getting us to the right parking area.
