The property was beautiful and amenities were great. We had one negative experience with a staff member everyone else for our entire stay were great. If someone orders room service at 5:58 I personally would take the order and not ask them to call back in two minutes. Additional charge for parking is ridiculous. The resort also decided they were going to charge additional resort fee and hold an additional set fee of $200 per day "just in case" you charge to your room. Also the food was not great at any of the on property restaurants we went to so for these reasons we rated it a 3. Maybe just charge more for the rooms and not nickel and dime people staying.

As a travel coordinator, I recently arranged a stay at El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico for one of my clients, and I’m pleased to share their positive experience. The resort’s location is truly exceptional—perched above the coastline with sweeping views of the Caribbean and Atlantic. My client especially appreciated the access to Palomino Island, a private retreat that offered tranquility, clean beaches, and a refreshing escape from the mainland bustle. Staff interactions were warm and professional, and the resort’s amenities—from the water park to the golf course—provided a great balance of leisure and activity. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel relaxed and restorative. From a logistical standpoint, the booking process and on-site coordination were smooth, and the property delivered on its promise of a classic Caribbean experience. I would confidently recommend El Conquistador to other clients seeking a scenic, well-rounded resort in Puerto Rico.
