This was my initial experience at this property, as I typically frequent either the Hotel San Juan or the Caribe Hilton. Upon my arrival, I discovered that my room was not ready, and the cookies provided were contaminated with ants. I promptly reported this issue to the front desk, yet it took more than 15 hours for the room to be properly cleaned. The door didn't open due to expired batteries, so I had to wait for engineer to support.
On a more positive note, I found the concierge to be exemplary, and I appreciated the cigar room and the quality of the food offered. However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the staff, who did not create a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, I noticed that chemicals were left in my room after I communicated with the General Manager, who assured me that the Director would contact me; unfortunately, I never received any follow-up.
I am quite disappointed with my experience. Although I had intended to return in September, I have since decided to stay at the Hotel San Juan..
