"Great hotel in a beautiful area right on the beach. Good thing the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a note for management: room cleaning missed the mark during our stay when the Marriott typically holds higher standards. Beds were never made or room cleaned by late afternoon. One particular instance where cleaning staff didn’t speak or understand English and came into our room to clean bathroom while I was in there getting ready for dinner?! It was immediately brought to the attention of the front desk and they indicated it would be addressed. However A quick reminder to the housekeeping team would make this a flawless experience. I would still recommend staying here."

"Our recent stay at the Dayton House Resort was over the weekend. The people (except for the manager) were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, however the bed was terrible. It was not supportive at all and you could tell that it was fairly old by how the mattress sunk on the side of the bed by the nightstand. I suppose where most people sat to watch tv or sleep if they were alone. The building itself was quite old and could have used a paint job and some better lighting in the lobby where the ping pong table was. The door to the outside was uneven so it got stuck when you tried to open or close it."

"The front desk people were very slow and confusing. Apparently only one of the two people knew what they were doing but she wasn’t very friendly. No one answered the phones when we tried to contact them because housekeeping skipped our rooms the second day and we had no clean towels. The pool areas and the beach access were very nice. There was a lot of construction going on and machinery noise at night. Overall, it was okay but we will probably try somewhere else next time we visit."
