Sands Ocean Club Resort
"There is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done: one hot tub jets don’t work, tile missing all around pool, cones are up near center of pool with tiles broken. They started working in a room next door to my room the night two nights before we left. They were very loud, when we woke up I smelled paint we were gone all day and when we returned it was really strong so we had to get a different room on our last night. Parking was good, AC in room was adequate. First room needed work, second room was nicer. Kid were swimming around lazy river so you couldn’t be lazy. Free tickets to Myrtle waves water park was nice. Tickets cost $58, so great perk. River City Cafe connected to hotel is great. Cheese curds and shrimp basket and wings were great. Lady that takes orders is rude and said she had been working there too long, I agree. All in all, it was a great stay. I would recommend this hotel."
