I have to admit the place was dated and rusted but extremely clean from the room, bathroom, pool area and the exterior. The staff were courteous and helpful. Everything is so close, a convenient market right across from the resort, bars, restaurants, attractions and the beach. Location is phenomenal.

it's a nice place to stay if you're not looking for something too nice and just a place to stay while you're there, the views are great and it's walking distance from most things. it's right behind the boardwalk so that's really convenient, the only complaint we had was that the elevators did not have air conditioning so they were extremely hot.

It was not renovated like it said first of all the elevators work when they want 🙄 and the rooms look like it was the 80s. We left after a few days came back home. Sorry wont be back again.

The property was older and that is not an issue at all but it was badly maintained. There was a leak in the ceiling of the master bedroom and when we called the office to report it no one bothered to check on it. The office has odd hours and is not open 24/7. There is no parking near the towers only 15 minute parking to load and unload. You have to park in a parking garage one street over and walk back to the room. It's not very safe with small kids or people with wheelchairs/disabilities. The pool situation was okay. The hot tubs and kiddie pools were shutdown. And the two remaining pool outside were pretty small. The walking path to the beach was actually nice and decent. There was homeless people taking up beach chairs by the pool area and sleeping, changing clothes in front of guests and children. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The reviews I read must have been different or people had a better experience but we will not be back.

The bad stay

I did not like the Yasmin club because I was having problems with my room and when I was allergic to them cleaning, whatever cleaning they had used for the walls which was mostly bleach I am allergic to it and when I had explained that to the young lady at the front desk, she told me that I just had to check out. I first went down to the front desk and explain to the young lady that it was mold in the room and that I was unable to stay in that room. I had went to the front desk earlier complaining about the mold that’s what led to the bleach, then I was told that I should’ve taken the other room that was given to me and that they had no more rooms left, and the rooms that they did have left were dirty, and guests are going to be staying in there!

The most disgusting room I've ever seen

This place is disgusting. The listing on Hotels.com was reasonably priced and the pictures looked reasonably reasonably (within the last 10 years or less, but not newly renovated) and bright, airy, and clean. In reality, anything but. The pictures were clearly staged. Our room was dark, musty, atrocious, filthy - couch had the most disgusting stains, dresser drawers were broken, paint peeling off the walls and ceiling, black mold in the closet, rust and mold in the AC unit with standing water, and kitchen cabinets falling off the ceiling, water leaking from the bedroom ceiling, and the AC vent was leaking all over the floor. We could not stay there. We tried to contact the property at the number they provided, and nobody answered. We contacted Hotels.com and they tried to get us a refund - but, the property manager said, regardless of the issues or room condition, the reservation was non-refundable. Hotels.com sent an email 3 days later basically saying, 'Sorry for the inconvenience. The property manager denied your refund request. Not our problem.'

First night we woke up to a cockroach running across our heads. After that everything just grossed us out, also the front desk person wasn’t very friendly about it. The balcony isn’t represented very well in the pictures it is about a foot wide, you can barely even stand on it. The balcony wasn’t a huge deal just misrepresented. All in all, you get what you pay for…

People were very nice. Awesome location. Problem was glass door would not open (fire hazard) so we couldn’t see through it. Other problems were dishwasher didn’t work, no trash bags, no cold water so got burnt when tried to wash dishes by hand, and no ice, Definitely older place to stay. Younger people would love due to location but older people may want more.
