First time staying here and probably the last. Check in was ridiculous. Check in is not on the property so makes it even more difficult. The place is beat up. Our door isnt securely shut and its literally falling apart. The pool area is ok, but there is no bathrooms other than some outhouse that are absolutely gross or on the second floor. The bar closed an hour after check in. The shower doesnt get hot and the tub wont drain. My kids needed showers but i felt i could not give them one not knowing what was backing up. Definite no for me. We love this area because there is so much to do, but we will not be returning to this hotel in paticular.

This Resort is extremely old!! Renovations are very much needed. The Air Conditioner was profoundly noisy. The Air Conditioning system kept me awake at night. The Air Conditioner also leaked. The Refrigerator was also noisy and old. Both broken appliances kept me up at night. The room was not clean. Housekeeping only replaced towel but did not clean the room. I had to contact the front desk for more toilet paper and towels. The tub had a rip inside the middle. The oven was dirty. I spoke with other guest which also experienced the same issues. PLEASE!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO ANYONE ELSE!! PLEASE!!! Thank you

Me and my family had a wonderful getaway. Crown Reef resort is a must if you have kids. The pools/splash pad is worth staying here, your kids will love it. The property is very clean and our room was spotless when we arrived. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the room is always warm. You’ll want to have a fan during your stay. But overall we would definitely stay here again.

This was a 10/10! Book the trip. We had an excellent stay at Crown Reef Resort! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pools and waterpark were a huge hit with the kids, and the beach access was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything we needed was right on site. A great place for a fun, relaxing family vacation — we’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed the pools and lazy river and easy access to the beach/beach views from our room. My 13yr old didn’t care to ride the waterpark slides but one time each. This was the noisiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Our first night we heard everyone showering above us for hours on/off above our bathroom. The walls shook and we heard yelling, running and doors slamming until 2-3am all 3 nights even with a noise curfew. It was like there was hardly any insulation between or above rooms. The water damage in our ceiling and the bathrooms was very concerning and I’m leaving with most likely a case of pneumonia. We were thankful they upgraded us to a suite and the staff was kind and the beds were comfortable. However, reaching anyone at the desk was a huge task that took multiple tries each time. Overall, they had good staffing except at the desk, but the property needs a huge overhaul in updating and most likely serious mold remediation. The parking is also very confusing and hard to find the top deck with no signage to guide you up or down.

My daughters 12 and 10 really had a great time in the slides. The main pool was a little dirty but I think that comes with being near the ocean. The lazy river was fine... Although watch your feet and legs in the bottom as my daughter and I both came out with wounds from it. The resort looked about the same as it did in 2017 when we were there last. Our room was missing a smoke detector and we called about it, but it never got resolved.

Staff has no idea what they are doing. You ask them questions about hotel things and they don’t know answers. Getting through hotel staff on the phone is almost impossible. My safe was broken and after notifying staff of the problem , no one came to fix it. To get new towels we had to call daily. Building is in poor condition. Everything is old and falling apart. Only good thing was AC worked well.

The kids loved the pools. The animation was fun, the beach was beautiful, and it was super convenient to have a restaurant on site. The reason I give it a 2 star is mainly because of not having proper toilet by the pools, only Porto potty that were super dirty and smelled so bad. Like you could pass out it was so pungent. You could smell it from the pool side which didn't make it enjoyable. Plus on the second night, the 2 main elevators of our building stopped working, with 12 stories, that created a lot of traffic to the only other elevator. The staff was super nice but the facility is not looking it's best. It has the potential to be amazing if it has proper maintenance.
