Girls’ Getaway

We had a great time staying at Beach Colony. This was my first time visiting this resort and I was not disappointed. We booked a two bedroom condo with an ocean view. It met all of our expectations. Will definitely book here again!

Okay but not a resort

I did not find it to be a “resort”. Hallway rugs are dirty. The bedrooms were dirty. No water pressure in the main bathroom. The curtain rod sticking out and water flood the floor. I will only stay in emergency. Good part it sleeps 6-8 ppl, a found it spacious. Indoor pool under renovation. Outside pool and access to beach was great.

2 Bedroom suite was ok

My stay at the Colony Resort was ok. I booked a 2 bedroom suite, and EVERYTHING was outdated. I was a little disappointed at how old and dirty things were. All of the appliances, the cooking utensils, the furniture, etc were old, worn and outdated. Also, the room wasn't clean well. But I did enjoy the view. Hopefully this room or all rooms go through a renovation or some type of update in the near future.

The room we stayed in could use some maintenance and better cleaning. Maintenance was actually working in the bathroom when we got there, fixing some kind of drain line clog. Someone "cleaned" the bathroom when they were done but really didn't do a very good job at all. There were smears of some substance left on the tub, shower, and wall. We could see the cabinets in the kitchen had been coming off the wall and ceiling, and had been braced in place, but they were crooked. One of the legs fell off the bed when we layed down. Had to put it back in place but it was obviously not the first time it happened as it was stripped out. The room was decent, just not the best we've seen. However, the view, the pools, and the beach were amazing.

The balcony by door did not lock. Bathtub chalking as well as the kitchen area was dirty. The front door was difficult to open and unlock. The front staff were very unfriendly. Will not stay here again not worth the money. Also the ice machine was loud during the night.
