This home is located in the heart of Algiers Point, the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. The house has received a historical marker in the form of a jazz plaque fro once being the home of the influential jazz musician Alphonse Picou. This home is spacious 1400 sq ft. It includes 2 common areas, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and 2 baths. There is a washer and dryer. An added bonus is the home is NOT a shotgun, meaning each bedroom is completely private.

Great Quiet Location

The property was in a good location for our needs. The property is a historic home that has been nicely renovated. It is a couple of block walk to the ferry that takes you within a few blocks of 5s French Quarter. The owner was very responsive to my questions.
