I have stayed in this hotel. This will be my third year and I was very disappointed with my stay this time. My shower was leaking. The drain in my bathroom sink was clogged although that was corrected. My air conditioner didn’t shut off and I was freezing. Engineering came up. They said they were gonna come back and fix it. They never returned so I asked for an extra blanket which I received. My clock didn’t work so I couldn’t set a wake up alarm and when I called down to the front desk at 11:30 PM, nobody was answering the phone so I had to leave my room and go downstairs and stand there and wait for someone to come back and then I was told sorry it was in the middle of a shift change. I don’t understand how you can leave the front desk on demand. In addition the bartender was doubling as a waiter in the restaurant. It was just a much different experience this year. I don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

I love the staff, very friendly and I felt safe the whole time. You have to use your room card to go up and there is always someone at the door. Right across from the Riverwalk, it is very convenient.

everything was good , we came down for new years …. It’s down the street from casino across the street from the outlet and probably a seven minute walk from Bourbon street. Only con I see there parking, hard to get a parking spot unless you use valet which is 50 dollars every day

I stayed at the Riverfront Hotel for 2 nights two weeks before Christmas. Staff was courteous and helpful. My room was on the 5th floor that's clean and quiet, probably because there were not many people in the hotel. I could hear someone next door taking shower in the morning though. I requested in advance a microwave in my room, which is very convenient. There's free bottled water everyday, but they are not supplied in the room. You need to request at the front desk. There's a $130 deposit per room. It was returned to me 2 weeks after I checked out. The hotel is near Bourbon Street and WWII museum. An Outlet is across the street for shopping. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby that I found convenient. My overall experience was excellent and I recommend the Riverfront Hotel.
