Very friendly and helpful staff. Greeted us every time we walked past the front desk. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very nice, with good water pressure. I usually pack my own shampoo, conditioner, etc., but missed getting that in my bag. The amenities were very nice and I was pleasantly surprised. We ate at the restaurant the first night. There was a very limited menu, but what we had was very good, and the fries were amazing. We ordered the turtle cheesecake for dessert - the only cheesecake on the menu - but we were served cheesecake cake with strawberry topping. It wasn't a "real" cheesecake, as it was a fluffy, seemingly pudding type dessert. It was good, but definitely not an $18 dessert, and not what were looking forward to. The hotel is very close to the Riverwalk Outlets, and a few other attractions. We walked to the WWII museum, but used a taxi the next 2 days just because we have bad knees. Most areas are walkable if you're younger and in better shape than we are. Overall, we would stay here again.
