Nice hotel, walking distance to Zrench Quarter

Privacy in the bathroom was an issue. They have a sliding door that does not completely close or lock. Definitely need a real door.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

I gave four stars because of our issue with door closing properly all the way but addressed and noted. Otherwise good experience. Exercise is the walking with plenty to do. Will stay again.

While we were there for just a few days the room was very clean and smelled nice. The a/c was very cool especially after a long day of walking the French Quarter. The only drawback was the door to the restroom.... It was like a sliding barn door. Everything else was great.

No privacy

Overall the hotel was good, but the beds were worn out and all rooms had barn doors on the bathroom. In other words, you had a 2 inch gap on both sides of the door so everyone in the room could hear everything going on in the bathroom. You may as well leave the bathroom door open.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and very friendly
Cons: The hotel could improve the housekeeping, have someone check each room before Guest arrive double check bedding always.
Location: We enjoyed our total experience, looking forward to returning.
Reported dirty linen on bed not once but twice to front desk and to housekeeping to no avail. After the 2nd day I placed bed covers on the floor to hopefully bringing attention since phone Calls brought no action. Spoke to the maid assigned to the room, she listened and said ok. Upon our return from the French Quarters, that nite the same top covers were again on our bed. I then went into the linen room and replaced our top bedding covers with clean and fresh linens Spoke to front desk personnel who stated they were very for this happening. And so it goes.

Sullen staff

Would never go back. Limited selections from bar. Very uncomfortable beds. No coffee in rooms but I should have checked before making reservation. Staff acted as if they were burdened when they were asked a question.

Terrible service all around

When we arrived, it was not busy but we waited for someone to come get our bags and no one showed up so I went in and found a cart myself and loaded the bags and took them upstairs after waiting. When we got into our room, it was about 85 degrees in there and it was like walking into a sauna. I was livid and turned on the a/c which barely worked. It turns out it didn't even end up being able to cool the room off fully and I woke up covered in sweat. The next day, I called to have my truck pulled up and came down 30 minutes later after getting ready for a wedding and my truck was not there and so I stood there for another 20 MINUTES waiting and ended up walking into the church after the wedding started. When I left the hotel the next day, I called for my truck as soon as I woke up. I showered in the tiny bathroom with the strange door, got dressed and got all of my things together, and was downstairs over an hour later... No truck but there was a guy sitting there that jumped up and ran off when he saw me and then about 6-7 minutes later my truck was pulled up. Over an hour? This was the most repulsive hotel stay I have even had and I will never stay at another Omni. Whoever manages this hotel should pull it together.

Pros: The staff, the cleanliness and the awesome beds.
Location: The location is far from Bourbon St and music clubs. If traveling on business it's a great location, the convention center is close.
Stayed at the Omni Riverfront by mistake but it was great!

Nice building and rooms, but terrible food!

Pros: My room was spacious and clean, bathroom very nice.
Cons: Replace the "bistro" restaurant and room service. You don't get what has been stated and shown on the menu and it tastes bad!
Location: Across from New Orleans Riverwalk premium outlets, a block from Harrah's casino, near everything you want to get to in New Orleans.
The room I stayed in was wonderful, however, the bedding reeked of a kind of dried sweat smell or some very old or poorly stored linens and comforter. After one night I asked the front desk staff to change out my entire bedding and later that day I returned and it seemed 90% better. I still felt that something wasn't right but I stuck it out for four more nights. The front desk and housekeeping were very pleasant, but the hotel's restaurant and room service was horrible! I wasted too much money on poorly prepared and presented food--ugh! The ice machine on my floor worked only one day, there was no vending machine as posted and really no amenities. I can see now why they were offering special deals on rates. Location was very good.

Pros: It was really comfortable
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It was really nice and it was close enough to everything we wanted to see. Staff were great and we totally recommend the place.
