Great area with multiple options in food, lounges and more. Quiet and clean. The majority of the staff was amazing, there was two I didn’t care for that appeared to hide in the back while one was dragging a line out. There was one staff who went show and beyond to make sure I had my nephews left behind belongings and placed it in an uber.

A Great time was had

The front desk clerk was the absolute best; he was very friendly and efficient. Any questions we had for him he was able to answer and advise. He knew the area very well and was able to offer suggestions to our group. We will be staying there again in November for the Bayou Classic.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with this hotel. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the property was nothing like the pictures advertised online. The photos were very misleading. When I got to my room, I immediately noticed blood stains on the bed covers, which was unacceptable. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart, showing signs of neglect and water damage. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped in weeks, and unfortunately, the same could be said for the lobby area. The ice maker machine had visible mold, making it completely unusable. The entire building is extremely outdated and clearly hasn’t been maintained in years. Even the exterior desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Cleanliness and upkeep should be a basic standard, and this property failed on all levels. I would not recommend staying here until major renovations and proper maintenance are done.

This place was ok at first. But the room was a dark box that felt institutional. I asked for a room with more light but they said they didn’t know what rooms would be available. I know that’s not true because I used to work in a hotel and we know exact occupancy at any moment. The guy was nice enough but nobody was ever really pressed to help us. Guy at the bar was missing sometimes, or was a bit rude to others. They didn’t clean my room the last night- no towels or water or coffee nothing. So I called and they acted annoyed and just brought me a couple towels. It’s ok for the money if you need a dark place to sleep where you can’t even put on makeup because the lighting is so crap. Breakfast was bread, some fruit, lunch meat folded up and triangles of cheese. Then you could order a couple eggs if you want. Yogurt and oatmeal too. For $20 I didn’t like it. You can eat a real breakfast anywhere else for less. Basically I would never recommend this place to a friend unless they didn’t have other options. The guy in the restaurant was nice.
