For the purpose of a quick 2-day stay which included excursions, the hotel wasn't bad. However, would not book for a honeymoon or a longer stay. They have entertainment at night but if you want a quiet evening you won't get that. The floor felt dirty, not visible dirt, but you can take a look at your foot and see how much dirt you tracked. Mosquitoes ate us alive, lots of flies across the street at the bar area. I recognize we are on an island but inside hotels won't have that issue. Beautiful setting though for the private beach etc... again not a horrible stay but more than likely won't be picking this hotel again.

Nice hotel and love the private beach

Overall my stay was delightful, my one single complaint is in regards to my room. The sink in the bathroom leaked water at the bottom and so the floor was constantly wet and I’m curious as far as how moldy that could make the bathroom and the toilet every time we flushed we had to play with the handle to make it stop.

Poor choice

My over all experience was not good. The food choices were not good. It was not all inclusive like they advertised. You could not eat at certain times. The bar and food facilities would be closed. The resort didn’t look anything like the photos advertised. It was more like a run down motel and not a hotel at allllll. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else ever.

Small, comfortable resort

I stayed at Sea Garden with a friend for spring break. Our goal was to relax and only that. Our goal was met. I enjoyed the resort's size and not having to fight for a chair by the beach. The staff was very kind. The food was good, though with only the buffet for dinner, it did get a little monotonous. I do think the resort is geared more towards couples rather than groups of friends, as they seemed to get some preferential treatment (especially in the dining room). The room was good, and even though the water stopped working entirely one afternoon, it was quickly fixed. The air conditioning seemed to work less and less as the week went on, and the room was more humid, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, more sitting options in the room would be nice: a couch or a few more comfortable chairs or something like that. The drinks were good, the pool and beach grills made great food, and the gift shop had some needed items to tide us over as we waited for our luggage. Overall, it was a good vacation, and the slight disturbances were quickly cared for.

Jamaica mon

This is my 3rd time to Jamaica. I choose the SeaGarden Resort because of the proximity to the airport and beach. Pros- the food, drinks, and beach were wonderful Cons- the room was sub-par. The furniture was old and outdated. The dresser drawer wouldn't shut. The bathroom was small and looked like it had NOT been updated in at least 15 years. The water was cold and never got hot, let alone warm. AND the water pressure was horrible. I heard a lot of the guest complaining about the bathroom. The only thing that made it worth while was the food and drinks. The beach is a small cove. You have to walk across a busy street (be ware of the local vendors who are annoying selling overpriced jewelry and one guy was selling marijuana). The staff was very nice and accommodating. My suggestion is to spent a couple hundred dollars more (you'll get a better room, hotel, and bigger beach).

Nice clean hotel, very friendly staff

Pros: Very Clean, Staff was very nice
Cons: put drinks in room fridges, eateries open more hours of the day
Location: Nothing close ...... had to drive at least 45 min which cost 60.00 per person
+ to hotel ... Friendly staff, close to beach, clean hotel - to hotel ... food was not the greatest, nothing in room fridge but was suppose to be a all inclusive hotel, not very close to attractions had to pay for shuttle to go anywhere. Not much for restaurants , out of the ones they had they were only opened certain days and at certain times.

Very nice

The grounds and private beach are amazing! You can snorkel right at the beach (you will need your own equipment) the staff was super friendly! I wanted to bring them all home with me :) No need to pre book any activity since they have a desk in the lobby to help you or drivers that park outside will take you anywhere, we used Christie and Hodane super nice guys! Our only negative to say would be that our room was a little dated (but the ocean view made up for it) and the women that hang out by the entrance to the beach (not the hotel's fault but I want to warn others) they will try to get you to buy jewelry and charge you 3 time the cost of the same thing in a gift shop. When you try to give the bracelets back they won't take them and demand money every time you cross the road to use the beach (they're always out there) they will try to braid your hair, don't let them. The scam is you will agree on a price (maybe $2) then they put as many braids your head will hold and charge you $2 each braid. Stay away from them.
